Hello Stampers!
I initially purchased three packages of Stampin’ Up!’s 12 x 12 Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. It’s filled with an array of fall themes and images, but I never thought I’d use it all. Well, I did. And, I’m waiting for two additional packages to arrive next week. Today, I wanted to create some thank you cards to send to my Paper Pumpkin subscribers and was forced to create something with just the scraps I had. This is the result.
I CASEd the layout and design from a card I received from Kathryn Collison for World Card Sending Week. In addition to the Come to Gather DSP, I used the sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia and the limited-time only Gold Shimmer Ribbon. The colors of the card stock are Merry Merlot and Early Espresso. Just a quick and easy card that’s oh so pretty in person.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! Country Home and Rooted in Nature
Hello Stampers!
Last night, I had the opportunity to stamp with an awesome group of teenage girls in Queen Creek, Arizona. Their creativity just blew me away!
I cut the pieces and showed them, step by step, how to create this card with rubber stamps, ink, and paper. But some of the ways they changed the card to make it their own were just amazing. (I should have taken some photos, but we were too wrapped up in crafting.)
The card starts with a Crumb Cake base, on top of which is a piece of the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. We stamped the stump image from Rooted in Nature with Soft Suede ink onto Very Vanilla card stock. We then added two leaves punched with the Cherry Cobbler card stock and the Leaf Punch. On top of that, we inserted a small slice of the Come to Gather DSP. And, finally, we stamped the sentiment (perfect for this month of gratitude) in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla card stock.
It was fun stamping with a group of girls who let their creativity flow.
I’m headed back in December to stamp on wooden tree ornaments and create a Gold Foil gift box.
Thanks for stopping by today!

The Wrapped In Plaid 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, with it’s variety of plaid patterns and gold foil accents, really makes this card shine. Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hello
Hello Everyone!
Happy Saturday morning, November 2, 2019! It’s bright and sunny here and heading toward the mid-80s in Mesa, Arizona. It hasn’t been difficult getting used to the weather here! I’ve been out and about attending networking groups to meet new people and make connections. I try to bring a fun item to share made with Stampin’ Up! products, and, of course chocolate.
These Ghirardelli treats are my go-to item. They are quick and easy and cute and can be dressed up in any way for any holiday or event. This one features the stamp set Harvest Hellos and the Apple Builder Punch with the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.
Start with a strip of your favorite Designer Series Paper measuring 5 1/2 inches by just under 2 inches. Score at 2 5/8 and 2 7/8 inches. Trim both ends with Stampin’ Up!’s Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Fold on the score lines. Insert your chocolate. I usually add a little adhesive to keep the chocolate in place. Close the package with coordinating ribbon and decorate the front.
For my meetings, I package in a cello bag and include either a business card or a free class pass. Everyone loves a little chocolate!
Click on any of the graphics below to buy the products used to create this fun, chocolate treat package. Please let me know if you have questions.

Stampin’ Up! Wonderfully Wicked/Wicked Dies
Hello Stampers!
I have a super fun card to share with you today. It’s created by Angela Schmit, and she got her inspiration from a video by Robyn Cardon.
Can you guess how the background is created? With rubber cement; the kind you get from the office supply store.
Start by drizzling the rubber cement onto a blank piece of Whisper White card stock. The size of this piece is 5 x 3 ¾. Let the rubber cement dry thoroughly. I left mine overnight just to be sure. You’ll get a different design each time, depending on where you drizzle the rubber cement and how much you drizzle.
Then, using Stampin’ Up!’s Sponge Brayers, apply ink on top of the dried rubber cement. This card uses Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, and Mango Melody. It doesn’t matter if the colors overlap a little bit.
Use a paper towel to rub the rubber cement off of the card stock. You’ll remove little “boogers” or pieces of rubber cement. Continue until all of the cement is removed. I suppose you could call this an emboss-resist technique; the white card stock shows where the rubber cement was.
You can then stamp and embellish the background any way you wish. Angela used the die cut from the Wicked Dies and stamped images from Wonderfully Wicked. It’s then layered on Basic Black card stock cut at 5 ¼ x 4 inches and layered on a Whisper White card base.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about the creation of this card!
