With fall in full swing, I love using leaf-themed supplies for the cards I need to send — from birthday to thank you to congrats and more. I know I’m certainly getting my money’s worth out of Stampin’ Up!’s Gathering Together Suite Collection.
The stamp set is versatile, the patterned paper is gorgeous, the dies lend themselves to many techniques, and the gems are so pretty.
So, today, I’m sharing yet another creation that I’ve made using elements from the collection.

As I’m experimenting with my stamp sets and dies, I look for ways I can combine them with other products in my stash. For today’s card, I use Stampin’ Up!’s Gathering Moments Bundle and pair it with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder and Peace on Earth Dies from the Peaceful Garden Suite Collection.

Early Espresso cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.

Today, I share a fall-themed card using products from the Gathering Together Suite Collection. Find it as an Online Exclusive beginning Wednesday, September 3.
All of the products shown above are available with one ordering number (#165987), but you’re also able to purchase each of the elements individually.

Measurements and Details
Basic Black cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Gathering Together 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper panel measuring 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Basic Black cardstock panels measuring 5 x 3 1/2
Two Basic Beige cardstock pieces measuring 5 1/4 x 4
Die cut the leaf (either will work) from one of the Basic Beige cardstock pieces
Layer the die cut over the remaining Basic Beige piece and add ink with Blending Brushes. (I used the small blending brushes.) Ink: Crushed Curry, Garden Green, and Cajun Craze
Stamp sentiment with Memento Black ink
Die cut with Textured Notes frame measuring about 3 1/4 x 4 3/4
Emboss this piece with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder

Here’s another card below using the same technique. For this card, I blended ink directly on a piece of patterned paper from the Gathering Together 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper pack. I also used a Cajun Craze base and panel with another layer of DSP from Fathering Together. The Early Espresso Linen Thread is also part of this suite as are the Cajun Craze & Gold Dots.

Leaf (Gathering Moments Dies) die cut with Cajun Craze Two-Tone Cardstock, embossed with Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, and sanded.
Add a touch of white glue to a silicone mat. Mix with water from water painter brush and splatter on leaf surface. Sprinkle gold Wow! embossing powder on top and shake off. Heat with Heat Tool. Please watch the video below to see how this fun technique (inspired by Lisa Bowden) works.
