Who doesn’t love the beauty of the fall? So gorgeous with the changing colors of the leaves and the vibrant regals. I’ve tried to depict that fall season with today’s post and featured card.
Find the Changing Leaves Bundle as one of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives. You won’t find this in a catalog, but it’s available in the online store. It’s been a hugely popular bundle and just recently came back into stock.
The Autumn to Remember 12 x 12 Card Stock is just one of the new releases in the scrapbooking line. You receive two sheets each of Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso, and Petal Pink two-tone card stock. I love this paper because of its white core; it lends itself to many techniques, as you’ll see today.

I tried something a little different with the leaf design from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Mask collection. Be sure to watch the video below to see step-by-step instructions for creating this card. It’s a new-to-me heat embossing technique.
Cherry Cobbler card stock measuring 5 1/4 x 1 13/4 lightly taped to the back of the leaf design mask. (Rub card stock with embossing buddy before taping.)
Liberally apply Versamark ink on top of mask, ensuring you have good ink coverage.
Remove card stock from mask. Cover with gold embossing folder, tapping off the excess.
Heat with heat tool, heating all surfaces.
Add to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock measuring 5 1/4 x 4 embossed with a folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. Add a strip (1/4 x 5 1/4) of Gold Foil adjacent to the embossed piece.
On a Very Vanilla square die cut with the largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies, stamp the leaf image from Cheers to the Season in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Pop up on card front with dimensionals.
Add gold Simply Elegant Trim and gold sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
Card base is Cherry Cobbler cut a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
I think this is a super fun heat embossing technique that adds a lot to the card. It also give you another way to use the decorative mask. I look forward to trying it with the snowflake mask in that collection.

Season of Chic for Fall
It’s easy to invest in a stamp set or bundle when you know it’s versatile. You’ll love Stampin’ Up!’s Season of Chic stamp set and Chic Dies (buy the as a bundle and save 10 percent) for that reason. The set includes images (and coordinating die cuts) for all four seasons. Its sentiments cover the basic greetings you frequently use, such as thank you, thinking of you, and happy birthday. Find it in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Click here to see a post and video with an idea for another fall card and treat box using this bundle.
In addition to the Season of Chic Bundle, this card features a fun fold (Open Panel Card) and uses the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper and the sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set. Look below to see what the inside looks like.
It’s a great fold that works with a variety of stamp sets and patterned papers. I used this layout for my team mystery stamping event. It was so fun to see what everyone designed. Click here to view a YouTube video showing how this open panel card is created.
