Party Alphabet Christmas in July

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s July Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us. This month, we focus on Christmas in July. Prepare to be inspired to get started on your holiday crafting. Be sure to visit each blog on the hop and leave a comment. You could win a Birthday Sparkle card kit.

When it comes to Christmas and holiday cards, some prefer the traditional colors of green and red, while others prefer something more non-traditional. These colors could include navy, purple, pink, crumb cake, and even black. I’m good with either!

Today, I share a Christmas card sporting the non-traditional colors of Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Pretty in Pink, and Strawberry Slush. What do you think?

For the inside, I added a sentiment from the Jolly Holly stamp set (Online Exclusive) and a piece of Strawberry Slush foil from the Flower Garden Foils 12 x 12 Specialty Paper.

Measurements and Details

Please enjoy these details to help you create this card at home:

  • Pretty in Pink Cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Secret Sea Cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, embossed with the Pattern of Friendship Die
  • Letters from the Party Alphabet Dies cut cut from the Cloud Cover and Pretty in Pink sheets of the Flower Garden Foils 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Strawberry Slush 3/8-inch Faux Linen Ribbon
  • 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls (Strawberry Slush)

I hope you love the clean and simple style of this card. You can easily change the colors to suit your interests.

Jolly Holly Christmas in July

Carrying on with my Christmas in July series, I share a card created with Stampin’ Up!’s Jolly Holly Bundle. Find it as one of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives. Click here to check out all of the online offerings.

This bundle packs a lot of punch. It includes a stamp set with holiday images as well as a variety of word choices where you can build your desired sentiments. Also, find rectangle stitched tags, an embossing folder, and a 3D die cut/embossing folder combination. (See this past video for a look at how the folder works.)

Stampin' Up! Jolly Holly Bundle

Today’s card features a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square design. The good news: This creation still fits in one of Stampin’ Up!’s Basic White Medium Envelopes.

I hope these directions help you start making this card at home:

  • Real Red Cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 4 1/4, scored at 4 1/4

Jar of Joy in Pink

Jar of Joy in Pink

Earlier this week, Stampin’ Up! released a brand-new offerings of Online Exclusives. See them online here. Or click this link to view a flyer. I ordered the Jar of Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set first! I love playing with new paper crafting goodies, and I created a host of fun Christmas cards, just in time for Christmas in July.

Jar of Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set

A coordinating punch was offered in the last Online Exclusive release. The Sweet Jar Builder Punch works both with the Jar of Joy stamp set and the Sweet Jar Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Sweet Jar Builder Punch

In a previous post, I shared a host of holiday card examples featuring the Jar of Joy stamp set and the punch. I played with more traditional Christmas colors for those. See the post here.

For today’s card, however, I chose a more non-traditional approach. I use the colors of Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop, and Smoky Slate. Are you a traditionalist with a lean toward red and green? Or do you prefer non-traditional Christmas colors?

Measurements and Details

These details help you get started:

  • Smoky Slate card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Bubble Bath card stock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, die cut with the Pattern of Friendship Die
  • Smoky Slate circle die cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies
  • Petunia Pop Classic Stampin’ Pad
  • Petunia Pop 1/4″ Iridescent Ribbon
  • 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you enjoy this project. Please let me know if you have questions about this card or any other stamping projects.
