Free Card-Making Tutorial

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

  • STAMPS – Relaxing Waterside Photopolymer Stamp Set (167922)
  • PAPER – Gray Granite Cardstock (146983), Misty Moonlight Cardstock (153081), Waterside Retreat 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (167920)
  • INK – Versamark Pad (102283)
  • OTHER – Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (164049), Stylish Shapes Dies (159183), Heat Tool (129053), Wow! Basics Embossing Powder (165679), Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (155475), Adhesive-Backed Metallic Dots (163780), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

Cutting & Scoring:  

  • Gray Granite Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
  • Misty Moonlight Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4” and ½” x 3”
  • DSP – Three pieces each measuring 3” x 3” (various patterns including life jackets, fish, and buoys)
  • Gray Granite Baker’s Twine – 10”

Instructions:

  • Fold the card at the score line.
  • Emboss the 5 ¼” x 4” Misty Moonlight Cardstock with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. Attach to Gray Granite card base.
  • Die cut each of the 3” x 3” DSP squares with the second largest Stylish Shapes Dies circle.
  • Adhere each to card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the middle circle.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment with Wow! White Basics Embossing Powder on the ½” x 3” Misty Moonlight Cardstock.
  • Notch each of the ends of the cardstock as banners.
  • Arrange Baker’s Twine on card front and attach with a Glue Dot.
  • Pop up the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the ribbon.
  • Attach three copper Adhesive-Backed Metallic Dots.
