This month, I use Stampin’ Up!’s Changing Leaves Bundle in conjunction with the baby wipe technique (See another post using a different stamp set with this same technique. Click here to view.)
Card Details
Here are a few details about how I created this card:
- Very Vanilla Card stock: base measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4. Another piece measuring 5 1/4 x 4.
- Ink refill colors: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
- Linen Thread
- Enamel Basic Effects: Copper
Baby Wipe Technique
A brief recap of how to accomplish this technique. Be sure to watch the video below to see how it’s done:
- Layer two baby wipes on top of each other. Be sure to protect your work surface as the ink will bleed. I used my Glass Mat.
- Drip drops of reinkers onto baby wipes. I used Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Garden Green.
- Cover the baby wipe area. It has to be large to accommodate the large stamp.
- Press the stamp in the inked baby wipe and then stamp on the Very Vanilla card stock.
