With the recent release of Stampin’ Up!’s brand-new Online Exclusives, there’s plenty of paper crafting product choices from which to make Christmas in July cards and projects. My favorite product of this release is the Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection. It boasts two stamp set and die bundles, gorgeous Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper, printed Graceful Greenery Specialty Vellum, vanilla satin ribbon, and, of course, bling.
Golden Greenery Christmas Card
Today’s card uses the Golden Greenery stamp set and the Greetings of the Season stamp set (sentiment) as well as the printed vellum. Read about some of the details below:
Mossy Meadow card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Graceful Greenery Vellum measuring 5 1/4 x 4
Cherry Cobbler layer measuring 3 3/8 x 4 5/8
Basic White layer measuring 3 1/4 x 4 1/
The pine bough image is a two step stamp, meaning it takes to stamp images to create the design. I inked the first stamp with Mossy Meadow, stamped “off” on my grid paper, and the stamped on the Basic White layer. I then inked the second image in Mossy Meadow and stamped directly on top of the first image. This creates the two-tone effect and is easy to accomplish with the photopolymer, clear stamps.
Stamped sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink
Colored 9″ of the Iridescent Striped Trim with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend
Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Pearls
I experimented with a couple of heat embossing techniques with the pine boughs. For this first card below, I inked the first image with Mossy Meadow and stamped on the Basic White panel. I inked the second image with Versamark, stamped on top of the Mossy Meadow, and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

What do you think? Which one do you like best? I just love that there are many options when working with this stamp set and the suite’s coordinating products.

Greetings of the Season Card Sample
Today, I’m playing with the Greetings of the Season Bundle. The sentiments and die cuts are perfect for creating handmade Christmas cards as well as tags and small gifts.
The card itself features the heat embossing technique and the inlaid embossing technique. Be sure to watch the video below to get tips to create this card at home. Here are some measurements and details to help you get started.
Thick Basic White cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Basic White cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4
Gold Foil Sheet measuring 5 1/4 x 1 1/2
Technique: I glued the foil to the Basic White cardstock panel and ran the whole piece through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.

Light the Sky Celebrate
For today’s hop, I chose to use Stampin’ Up!’s Light the Sky stamp set to create a patriotic card celebrating Independence Day. I know, I know! Who sends cards to celebrate the Fourth of July? I think it’s really fun to make and send cards for all of the holidays. In fact, I bought this stamp set to use specifically for July 4th and New Year’s.
One quick note about this stamp set. You won’t find it in a catalog; it’s part of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives. It’s definitely for sale. (Take a minute to browse the Online Exclusives by clicking here. There are some really great products not found in catalogs.)
