Happy Birthday!

Hello Friends!

Celebrating a birthday is a fun time! It’s especially more fun when many of my friends are stamping enthusiasts who sent handmade cards. Even though my birthday was more than a month ago, I’m sharing some of the fun cards I received. I’ll share more tomorrow, as well.

Enjoy!

Another “Wish” Card

Picture

Hello Friends!

Happy Friday! I’m sharing another of the cards I created for the Make-A–Wish Foundation to give to the children about to embark on their wish trip.

I think the “Oh, Happy Day” sentiment from the Starburst Stamp Set (with coordinating framelits dies) would sum up the feelings of someone about to experience a special time. This card was inspired from several others I’ve seen on stamping Web sites and Pinterest. There are so many fun ideas for this stamp set!

Some of the other Stampin’ Up! products used include the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper and the Arrows Embossing Folder.

Thanks for checking in today! Have a great weekend!

Dreamin’ of the Beach!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

There isn’t much water here in land-locked Nebraska, but that doesn’t keep me from dreaming about it! This High Tide Designer Series Paper in the Spring Occasions catalog provided just the fodder for dreaming of the ocean and much warmer weather.

I CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) this beauty from Stampin’ Success, a magazine offered to Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. (You, too, could receive a copy of this magazine filled with tips, tricks and card ideas by joining SU! Ask me how!)

I changed the card slightly by stamping the starfish from the By the Seashore set in Calypso Coral and the sentiment from Regarding Dahlia in Pacific Point.

It’s just the card to set the tone for a great day! Make it a good one!

Supplies I used:

  • Stampin’ Up! Note Cards and Envelopes
  • High Tide Designer Series Paper
  • By the Seashore Stamp Set
  • Regarding Dahlias Stamp set
  • Summer Starfruit 1 1/4-inch Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
  • Calypso Coral and Pacific Point Classic Stampin’ Pads
  • Starburst Sayings Framelits
  • Stapler
