It Was a Birthday Bash!

Happy Friday Stampers!

What a great class last night! We pulled out all the stamp sets for the birthday bash!

This is one of the cards we created. Once again, Stampin’ Success (the magazine for demonstrators) came to the rescue. In the recent issue, the artists had created this as a gift bag. Well, it looks great as a card, too!

(My stampers were asking for a star punch so they didn’t have to cut the stars by hand!)

Here are the supplies I used:

  • Perfect Pennants Clear: #133230 Spring Occasions  p. 27 $21.95
  • Banners Framelits Dies: #132173 SO p. 27 $26.95 (or buy both as a bundle/save 15 %)
  • Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock: #131296vp. 141 $6.95
  • Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, Crushed Curry and Gumball Green markers
  • Silver Glimmer Paper: #124005 p. 156 $4.95
  • Decorative Label Punch: #120907 p. 181 $16.95
  • ½-inch circle punch: #119869 p. 182 $5.95

Thinking Spring! Sampler

Picture

Hello Stampers!

One of those things I really love about Stampin’ Up! products is you can make home decor projects in addition to cards and scrapbooks.

These samplers are so much fun and inspire so much creativity. I like this mini-size sampler as it’s not so overwhelming to make each 2-inch square.

I began each square with a base piece cut from the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper. It’s free with a $50 purchase (through March 31) during our Sale-A-Bration promotion.

Here are the other items I used to create this springtime sampler:
Top Row:
Square One: Papillion Potpourri Stamp Set, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pad, Rhinestone Jewels
Square Two: Flower Shop Stamp Set, Pansy Punch, Calypso Coral Classic Stampin’ Pad, Pearl Jewels
Square Three: Bitty Butterfly Punch, Rhinestone Jewels

Bottom Row:
Square One: Full Heart Punch, Summer Starfruit Card Stock, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Pool Party Twine
Square Two: Little Leaves Sizzlits, Pool Party Card Stock
Square Three: Bird Builder Punch, Pistachio Pudding Card Stock, Pearl Jewels, Black Sharpie

Oh, Happy Day Gifts

Hello Stamping Friends!

My in-town team members met last night to make the final preparations for a craft show we’re participating in on Saturday, March 8. If you’re near Lincoln, Nebraska, stop by and see us at St. Mark’s Church at 84th and Pioneers from 9 to 4. We have a wide range of all-occasion cards and gift items made from Stampin’ Up! products.

I gave these cute sticky note holders to the gals last night. (Thanks to Kay Kalthoff for the easy instructions.)

Cut a piece of card stock 3 1/4 x 7 inches. Score at 3 1/4 and 3 3/4. Fold. Round corners with corner rounder punch. Glue pad to the back card stock piece. Decorate!
(The Designer Series Paper piece was cut at 3 1/16 square and rounded with the punch.)

You can’t see it, but there’s a piece of Easter chocolate tucked in the bag behind the notepad holder. (Just a note: We’ll be making these notepad holders at the spring/Easter class I’m offering March 19.)

I’m loving the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper with the Strawberry Slush card stock and coordinating ribbon.
