Thoughtful Moments Hello Card

Thoughtful Moments Hello Card

Card making doesn’t have to be difficult! Stampin’ Up! offers a lot of ways to make creating easy. With today’s card, I feature the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder, a folder with a coordinating die that cuts ten sentiments with one crank of the die cut machine. Have these sentiments on hand for whenever you need them. Or, make a quick stack of cards, all ready to send out.

For the focal piece, the leaf, I used a leftover leaf (Gathering Moments Dies), from this card I created earlier in the week. Click here to see that post and a coordinating video.

Details and Measurements

  • Early Espresso cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Gathering Together 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper pattern measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • Die cut leaf in Early Espresso, dry embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder
  • Hello sentiment die cut with Gold Foil with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder.
  • Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems

And, that’s it. It’s that simple. And, I think it’s a gorgeous card with the foil accents.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! Please let me know if you have questions about this card or any other stamping projects. I’m happy to help!

Want to make your own Christmas cards this year? I’m offering an opportunity to create 21 handmade cards with Stampin’ Up!’s Joyful Days Memories and More Card Pack. There’s no stamping involved, but you’ll make gorgeous cards — three each of seven designs for $50 (add $10 if you want this kit shipped to you).

Two Class Choices

You can pay for this class to go and receive it in the mail. Or, if you’re local to Mesa, Arizona, you can gather to make these cards in person during a work-at-your-own pace atmosphere. (Seats are limited.) Class to be held at or 10 a.m. Saturday, November 1, at my home in East Mesa.

You’ll make three each of the seven designs for a total of 21 cards. If you’re local to Mesa, Arizona, you’re welcome to pick up your class packet to save on shipping.

You’ll receive all of the ingredients, including extra layers, envelopes, ribbon, and embellishments (including a full package of the Traditional Sparkling Sequins) to create the cards, as well as a simple PDF. Created with Stampin’ Up!’s Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack, these cards don’t require stamping. If you take this class to go, you’ll need to supply your own adhesives.

To purchase this class and/or reserve your seat for the in-person class, please complete this form. Payment must be received to reserve a kit. Send either of the following payments: I accept Venmo (@Kim-Quade), Zelle ([email protected] or 402-617-7955), PayPal ([email protected]), or cash.

Note: I’ve priced this class so it’s affordable for you. I’d prefer not to send invoices as there are extra fees involved. Please see payment options above.

These kits are ready to be mailed and/or picked up now.

Thanks so much for your interest in this class. Please let me know if you have questions. I can be reached via email at [email protected]

More Messages Meets Sunflower

Stampin' Up! More Messages Bundle

My shares this week focus on making gorgeous and quick cards using Stampin’ Up!’s More Messages Bundle. See the image of the stamp set and coordinating die below. It’s part of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives offering.

Stampin' Up! More Messages Bundle

This one large stamp includes 18 different sentiments. Just stamp, die cut, and create. Store the extra pieces to use when you need a handmade card in a hurry.

For today’s card, I used More Messages in conjunction with Stampin’ Up!’s Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. (This folder has been extremely popular and has been in and out of stock. Please let me know if you want me to watch the inventory for you.)

Measurements and Details

  • Basic White cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Basic Black cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • White cardstock panel measuring 5 x 3 3/4, embossed with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder
  • Sentiment from More Messages heat embossed with WOW! gold embossing powder and die cut with coordinating die
  • Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine
  • Traditional Sparkling Sequins (gold)

This next card sports an all-white look. The sentiments are heat embossed with WOW! gold and die cut with the More Messages Die. It looks so elegant, perfect for a wedding and/or congratulations card.

More Messages Bundle

I just feel there are so many ways to use these dies.
