Hello Stampers!

Some of the most popular cards at the recent craft shows were the wedding and shower cards. It’s the wedding season for sure! In fact, I had some special orders for these cards. (In a day or two, I’ll share the result of a special request for 3 x 3 cards for a kitchen shower.)

  • Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum
  • Heart Collection Framelits
  • Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder
  • Brushed Silver Card Stock
  • Whisper White and Basic Black Card Stock

Hippity, Hop Hop, Easter’s On Its Way!

Hello Stampers!

We made this sweet rabbit at last week’s Easter and spring card class. I drew inspiration from two stampers (Mary Fish for the color scheme and card layout and Melanie Aigner for the punch art rabbit). This was a lot of fun to make. Simple, but cute with no stamping involved. (Ironic, I know, when I sell rubber stamps!)

Supplies used:

  • Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper
  • Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, and Basic Black card stock
  • Silver Glimmer Paper
  • Circles Collection Framelits
  • Starburst Framelits Dies
  • Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
  • 1 3/4-inch and 1 1/2-inch Circle Punches
  • Daffodil Delight Seam Binding

Happy stamping!

Melon Mambo or Strawberry Slush?

Picture

Hey Stampers!

This post has little (or close to nothing) to do with rubber stamping. But, here’s my new bike. The Electra company says the color is “fuschia.” But, of course, being a diehard Stampin’ Up! fan, that color is just not going to work.

So, I’m wondering if it’s Melon Mambo or Strawberry Slush? What do you think? I would have loved a matching basket, but black was the best color match.

Can’t wait until it’s warm enough to really ride it. But, clear a path! I’m a bit wobbly!

Enjoy your day!

Home Sweet Home

Picture

Hello Stampers!

The card I’m sharing today is a fairly simple one, but it took me a long time to decide what I wanted to do. My sister-in-law (my hubby’s sister) and her husband just moved into a new home in Wyoming. I wanted to recognize that special occasion with a card.

Even though I have oodles of stamp sets and supplies, I just didn’t have what I thought was the right sentiment.

This is what I finally created using die cut letters from the Typeset Alphabet Bigz. I adhered the letters to a piece of the Daffodil Delight Designer Series paper from the Delicate Dots package. The sentiment comes from the Fabulous Phrases set. I stamped it in Black Versamark on Daffodil Delight card stock, punched it out with the
Large Oval Punch, and layered it onto the Scallop Oval. There you have it! Simple, but effective. Now to get it into the mail.
