Hello Stampers!
I’m taking a short break and visiting my parents in Tampa, Florida. (I’m trying desperately not to fry like a crispy critter as we head to Clearwater Beach tomorrow!)
I’m guessing you’re wondering about this card. When I first began stamping years ago, I had to have an outlet for all of the supplies I purchased. So, I committed to making cards for each holiday and sending them to relatives and friends. My mother displays the cards I’ve made for each holiday. This one is from 2006.
It is so fun to see how not only has my talent evolved, but it is interesting to see how the available products change and improve!
I can’t tell you what technique I’m trying here or even the name of the stamp set!
In the next couple of days, I’ll share a couple more of these cards displayed at my mom’s! You’ll love to see the progression!
Have a great day!

Hello Stampers! It’s been a fun couple of months playing with the products created for the Sale-A-Bration celebration. Today is the last day to take advantage of the exclusive stamp sets, embossing folder, a punch, Designer Series Paper and more. Remember, if you order $50 worth of Stampin’ Up! goodies you choose one FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration offerings. Contact me if you’d like to place an order today or shop directly from my online store. Click here.
This card (inspired by Brenda Keenan) uses images from two of the stamp sets. The “plant” image is from the Petal Parade set (stamped in Lucky Limeade ink) and the small flower (stamped in Strawberry Slush, Wisteria Wonder and So Saffron and punched with the shape from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack) is from the Banner Blast stamp set. I added some of Stampin’ Up!’s rhinestones to the middle of the flowers and used the sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts.
Make it a great day!

Hello Friends!
I’m getting ready for another class this morning. We’ll be using some of the Sale-A-Bration products during class. But, first, each stamper receives this cute little decorated chevron bag (inspired by Jodi Reinert) with an Easter treat inside. I just love to show people what cute things you can make with all of the varied Stampin’ Up! products!
The grass was created with the Fringe Scissors and Gumball Green Card Stock. The sun was cut from the Starburst Framelits from Daffodil Delight Card Stock. And the bunny was made from 1 3/4-inch and 1 14/-inch circle punches. Do you just love the Silver Glimmer Paper tail punched from the Itty BItty Punch Pack? The bag is topped off with a silver (or gold) Mini Clothespin and some Daffodil Delight Grosgrain ribbon.
There’s a whole lot more fun in store for today’s stampers! I’d love to have you join me sometime if you live in or near Lincoln, Nebraska. Just check my events page for more information.
Have a great day!

Hello Stampers!
This is a photo of my sideline (in Stampin’ Up! lingo that means she has the same upline I do) Karen and I at least year’s annual convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.
If it looks like we are having fun, we are! In this photo we’ve just won a prize from the “Prize Patrol.”
The reason I’m showing you this photo is because right now is a great time to sign up with Stampin’ Up! Through Monday you would get to select $150 worth of product for only $99 and it’s all shipped free! What’s even better, is that anyone who signs up now and before the close of event registration, gets to attend the convention FREE! That’s an almost $300 value. Of course, there are still hotel costs and travel expenses, but it is the event of the year. It will be held July 17-19 in Salt Lake City, and I’d love to have you join me.
