Hello Stampers!
In real life, these lovely flowers should be blooming soon. (I’ll have to enjoy them from the neighbors’ yards because I’ve never planted any bulbs!)
However, this Blessed Easter stamp from Stampin’ Up! allows me to enjoy the tulips whenever I want, and I can make then any color I want.
In this case, I chose Daffodil Delight. (What a striking Basic Black and Daffodil combination!)
With SU!’s Classic Stampin’ Pads and Blender Pens, it’s easy to create your very own colorful flower garden.
I stamped the image with the Black Stazon ink pad. (I do have to confess that when I mounted this stamp, I snipped the sentiment off so I could just use the tulips by themselves.) While the colored pad is closed, “smoosh” the front and back together several times. This transfers ink from the pad onto the lid. Then, with your blender pen, swipe the ink from the lid and color your image with the pen. It’s that easy and that fun! I colored the leaves with Old Olive.
Other supplies used on this card include the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, a scrap from the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, and Daffodil Delight Seam Binding. The flower image was punched with the 2-1/2 inch circle punch, and I used the Circles Collection Framelits to create the layering piece.
I hope you enjoy my very own tulip garden!

Hello Stampers!
Often, after setting up at a craft show, I get calls from people who have special requests for handmade cards. One customer needed some 3 x 3 cards for her daughter’s upcoming kitchen shower.
I scoured through my stamp sets and I couldn’t find anything that would work. So I logged onto MDS (My Digital Studio), Stampin’ Up!’s digital scrapbooking software. I did a quick search for “kitchen” and found the Now You’re Cookin’ set. It was just $1.95!
I printed out the images in Stampin’ Up!’s coordinating colors and then embellished the cards. Way easy and way fun!
If you just want to try MDS, we offer a 30-day free trial (#130910). The software itself is available for $19.95 (#130646). You can order either of these items from my online store. Click here.
Though the software comes with stamp sets, background papers, Designer Series Paper, embellishments, and punches, Stampin’ Up! offers a huge variety of downloads, new ones each week.
Give it a try! You can make everything from hybrid greeting cards to calendars to photo books!

Hello Stampers!
I’m still in Florida with my mom and dad. We’ve had some beautiful days and we’ve been able to enjoy Clearwater Beach. It’s good to have some downtime to read books and relax. But my mind is always on stamping!
Here’s a card I created and sent out in 2010. The Chocolate Bunny has been a favorite of mine, and I still have him in my collection. I’m pretty sure I embossed him and cut him out by hand. I wanted this card to look like the chocolate Easter bunnies in the stores. It’s a fun card!
Meanwhile, I need to be thinking about this year’s Easter design!

Hello Stampers!
My mom has 10 Easter cards on display — all cards I’ve made through the years. This one is from 2009.
I just love the tulip stamp, and I believe I still have it in my stash somewhere.
I am enjoying this look at the past!
Happy stamping!
