Hello Stampers!
In real life, these lovely flowers should be blooming soon. (I’ll have to enjoy them from the neighbors’ yards because I’ve never planted any bulbs!)
However, this Blessed Easter stamp from Stampin’ Up! allows me to enjoy the tulips whenever I want, and I can make then any color I want.
In this case, I chose Daffodil Delight. (What a striking Basic Black and Daffodil combination!)
With SU!’s Classic Stampin’ Pads and Blender Pens, it’s easy to create your very own colorful flower garden.
I stamped the image with the Black Stazon ink pad. (I do have to confess that when I mounted this stamp, I snipped the sentiment off so I could just use the tulips by themselves.) While the colored pad is closed, “smoosh” the front and back together several times. This transfers ink from the pad onto the lid. Then, with your blender pen, swipe the ink from the lid and color your image with the pen. It’s that easy and that fun! I colored the leaves with Old Olive.
Other supplies used on this card include the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, a scrap from the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, and Daffodil Delight Seam Binding. The flower image was punched with the 2-1/2 inch circle punch, and I used the Circles Collection Framelits to create the layering piece.
I hope you enjoy my very own tulip garden!
