Peachy Keen Meets On Film Framelits
Hello Stampers!
A couple of weeks ago, I held a class featuring the Peachy Keen stamp set and the coordinating On Film Framelits Dies. I thought this swap card, CASEd from fellow stamper Nancy Inchausti from Arizona, would make a perfect addition to the class.
The Retro Fresh This and That Designer Washi Tape is so colorful and easy to use, and it makes a great background.
- I layered the washi tape on a sheet of Whisper White card stock cut at 5 1/4 by 4
- I stamped the sentiment with Tangerine Tango ink
- Using the Elegant Butterfly Punch, I punched the image out of a small piece of WW card stock
- I then glued this piece to the filmstrip image cut from the dies out of Baked Brown Sugar card stock
- The entire piece was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto a base of Whisper White card stock
- I added a large Pearl Jewel (this item is being retired, but at this writing is still available)
What’s cool about this card is that any sentiment could be used at the bottom of the card. Any of the stamps from the Four You (#130538) set comes to mind.
Have fun stamping!

Creativity is Everywhere
Hello Stampers!
As stampers, we all know how fun it is to create something beautiful or fun with our own hands! There’s certainly an element of joy and satisfaction involved — for both the giver and the receiver.
I wonder if the housekeeping staff at our resort feels the same way about their creations? Isn’t this fun? It was a joy to return to the room each day and see what wonderful creatures housekeeping created with towels, rubber bands, and a few fresh flowers!
I wish I would have brought a package of handmade cards
“Happy” Graduation
Hello Stampers!
The graduation announcements starting arriving in the mail this week! I wanted to create something a little bit different, and here’s what I came up with. I thought the sentiment, from Starburst Sayings (Stampin’ Up! Spring Occasions), was perfect for graduates. I know my graduations made me very happy!).
I selected the black and white color theme so it would be generic. If I knew all of the school colors, I could vary the color theme. I admit, I did have to “steal” the graduation cap from a retired set. Stamped it in Stazon, cut it out, and popped it up with a dimensional. Now, off to make about five or six more!
