A Fun Gift

Hello Stampers!

Today I’m sharing a gift I received from Beth, one of my Kim’s Paper Krafters team members, during our recent trip to Salt Lake City for Stampin’ Up!’s annual convention. This is an altered notepad holder. Open the cover and inside there is a notepad on the right and a pocket on the left. She’s used the Flower Shop  stamp set with the coordinating punch and Feel Good stamp set. So cute and useful! Thanks for thinking of me Beth!

Hello Stampers!

I just returned from my third Stampin’ Up! convention (Inspire. Create. Share.) in Salt Lake City, Utah. This year, I shared the experience with three of my team (Kim’s Paper Krafters) members. It was their first trip, and there was a lot to see and do with main stage presentations, prize giveaways, seminars, make-and-take stamping sessions, card swapping, and meeting new friends. We’d love to have you join us next year.

We love our team T-shirts.

Stampin’ Up! Convention Gifts

Hello Stampers!

I’m back from Stampin’ Up!’s Inspire. Create. Share. convention in Salt Lake City. What a fun few days packed with stamping, meeting new stampers, swapping card samples, and learning new things! I attended with three of my friends from Kim’s Paper Krafters: Beth, Bonnie and Kathy. They experienced convention for the first time!

One of the fun traditions of convention is to create gifts for one’s team members. Here’s the gift I gave to the gals who attended convention. I started with Stampin’ Up!’s Kraft Grid Journals. They’re just $4.95 for two journals, and you can use your imagination to dress them up! I packaged the journal in a cello bag with a pen and post-it note pad. (Keep reading to see the photo the day of our lunch!)

Here are the other ingredients I used:

  • Feel Goods clear mount stamp set
  • Baked Brown Sugar Classic Stampin’ Pad
  • Lullaby Designer Series Paper
  • Whisper White, Coastal Cabana and Hello Honey Card Stock
  • Labels Collection Dies
  • Festive Piercing Pack
  • Hello Honey 3/8-inch Stitched Satin Ribbon
  • Itty Bitty Accents Punch
  • Project Life Corner Rounder

It’s Time for Another Swap!

Hello Stampers!

Convention is a blast! Perhaps the highlight of yesterday was receiving a copy of the Holiday Catalog! Wow! It’s filled with a lot of fun stuff! I can’t wait to share it with you! We’ve been taking photos but haven’t had time to post. I will do that when I return!

Today I’m sharing another card front I created to swap with others at Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I actually CASEd (copy and share everything) this design from Stampin’ Up!’s Celebrando, the Spanish-speaking version of the catalog. I just loved the layout and wanted to reproduce it.

Supplies include:

  • Cycle Celebration and Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Sets
  • Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder
  • On Film Framelits
  • Whisper White, Melon Mambo and Crumb Cake Card Stock
  • Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin’ Pads
  • Basic Metal Buttons
  • Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine
  • Beach House Washi Tape

Thanks for stopping by today!

It’s Convention Time!

Hello Stampers!

By the time you read this, I’ll be on my way to Salt Lake City, Utah, to attend Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Convention with about 4,000 other avid stampers and crafters! Three of the members of Kim’s Paper Krafters will also be attending. When I return, I’ll share a bunch of fun stuff!

This is a card front I created to swap with other stampers. It’s hard to believe the flower is created from a couple of the “splotches” in the Work of Art stamp set. And, of course, I’m hooked on the color combination of Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey! I added a small strip of Designer Series Paper from the Moonlight Paper Stack.

I love this card and I’m hoping there will be others who want to swap with me! Stay tuned!
