Make Today Ridiculously Amazing!

Hello Stampers!

Make today ridiculously amazing! Love that sentiment from Stampin’ Up!’s Amazing Birthday set (clear #134228). We received this set with convention registration and created some fun make-and-take projects with it.

So, of course, I had to share this set with my fellow stampers. This is one of the cards we made in last night’s class.

Here are the ingredients we used:

  • Whisper White, Island Indigo, and Tangelo Twist Card Stock
  • Gold Glimmer Paper
  • Island Indigo and Tangelo Twist Classic Stampin’ Pads
  • Decorative Dots Embossing Folder
  • Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack
  • Tangelo Twist Stitched Satin Ribbon
  • Staples

Have a look at all of the stamps in this set. It’s very versatile! Have fun and shop in my online store. Click here.

Sweet Treats

Hello Stampers!

I know I’ve said this several times, but I just love making treat packets! I love that I can use my Stampin’ Up! stamps, paper and ink to make a whole bunch of fun things.

I originally made these sweet treats as 3D swaps for convention. I was able to exchange a few with fellow stampers, but I had some leftover. I plan to give these as welcome gifts for my mom’s stamping party in Minnesota next Monday. Who doesn’t love chocolate?

These are created with Stampin’ Up!’s envelope punch board (#133774). I cut a 4 x 4 piece from the Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper (#133692). I punched and scored the sheet at 1 3/4 inches on all four sides. I then folded three sides in to create a pouch, using Sticky Strip (#104294) to adhere the paper. (Can’t have the candy popping out!) I then rounded the top tab with the punch board’s corner rounding feature.

The little packets are embellished with Stampin’ Up!’s coordinating accessories including the thick Strawberry Baker’s Twine (#135637) and the Tangelo Twist satin ribbon (#133669), shown here. The stamp sets were the Label Love (clear #130622) (on the left) and Sumthin’ Sumthin’ (clear

Happy Birthday … To My Husband!

Hello Stampers!

It’s my husband’s birthday today, and he is a huge baseball fan! I broke out my new Chevron Punch to create this fun card (CASEd from Michelle Suit). Love it!

To create the black line (on which to place the laces), I found a dinner plate in the cupboard, turned it upside down, and traced the edge with one of the Project Life Journaling Markers. I applied the Real Red Chevrons and used the Essentials Piercing Pack to add a little detail.

I inked the birthday sentiment from Label Love with a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker and added a star (Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) punched from Daffodil Delight.
