A Birthday Swap

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I’m still reveling in the aftermath of Stampin’ Up!’s Inspire. Create. Share. convention in Salt Lake City. It’s been completed for more than a week now, but there is still a lot to process and remember! I’m also working on cards for upcoming classes, for Make-a-Wish Monday and for a party for mom’s friends next week. It’s all so much fun!

Here is another swap card I created for convention. It features the Build a Birthday photopolymer set (138646), the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, the Washi Label punch and a the Polka Dot and Stars embossing folders.

Enjoy!

I Swapped!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I just returned from Stampin’ Up!’s Inspire. Create. Share. gathering in Salt Lake City. More than 2,600 demonstrators gathered to share, learn, and swap, of course! When I say swap, I mean we exchange cards we’ve created. It’s a great way to not only meet new people but to get a whole lot of great ideas!

Here’s one of the cards I made to swap with this year. It features the Definitely Dahlia stamp (it’s a large and versatile background stamp) from Stampin’ Up!’s new annual catalog. It’s stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and accompanied by a piece of washi tape from the Everyday Chic collection. The sentiment was cut with the Greetings Framelits and I added some neutral candy dots to top it off.

I just love how this card turned out! I hope the other swappers loved it, too!

Enjoy!

A Birthday Bag!

Picture

Hi Stampers!

Yep, another bag! I needed something quick and cute to send my sister a gift card for her birthday. (It’s today!) Have I mentioned how versatile and fun the bags are? And affordable: 10 of them for $3.50.

I started with the Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags and decorated it with images from the Build a Birthday set. I think a fun part of this project is the clothespin. I decorated it with the Cherry on Top Washi Tape, topped of with a Crushed Curry flower and a rhinestone.

The outside of the bag is so cute, and I’m sure she’ll love what’s on the inside!

Enjoy!
