Lovin’ Little Gift Bags

Picture

Hello Stampers!

So, it must be pretty obvious I love little gift bags and boxes. These Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags from Stampin’ Up! are so easy to use, and they are affordable. You get ten of the for only $3.50. (And this week they are part of the Weekly Deals for just $2.63. Supplies are limited at this price.)

I wanted to create a fun package to share a small gift with the member of Kim’s Paper Krafters, my team of wonderful demonstrators. Here are a few details of how this bag came together.

  • I stamped the flower from the You’ve Got This set in Black Stazon onto Whisper White Card Stock. (Generally, you would use SU!’s Watercolor Paper for this project, but I ran out!)
  • I used a Blender Pen and colored the flower with Melon Mambo, Old Olive, and Delightful Dijon ink.
  • I then hand cut the flower using SU!’s perfect little paper snips.
  • I adhered a doily to the bag and added the flower.
  • I added a fun Stampin’ Up! gift! (if you must know, each demonstrator received a package of Expressions Natural Elements.)
  • I closed the bag with some Melon Mambo cotton ribbon.

Happy Independence Day!

Happy Fourth of July!

It’s going to be a beautiful day here in Lincoln, Nebraska, and I plan to spend it with family and friends. But first, I have to share some mail I received from fellow stampers. Both Karen Page (see her original post here) and Ruth Grosscup used the versatile Work of Art stamp set to create these different, but very fun cards! If you don’t have this set, I would purchase it. At first glance, it seems like lines, swirls, and swooshes but it’s so much more. Click on the graphic at the bottom of this post to check out the images and the set.

Enjoy your day!

Celebrate!

Hello Stampers!

Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to create fun and festive items for the holidays. Here, Ive used the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits to make some treat holders to take as a hostess gift for a July 4th gathering. I’ve filled the insides with themed Tootsie Rolls. Too fun! I used the Stars Framelits to create the window in the box and then backed it with window sheets (so the treats don’t fall out!).

Click on the list below to see what supplies I’ve used or to purchase any of the products.

Have a fun, festive, and safe Fourth of July!

Enjoy!

Treats for the Fourth!

Picture

Hi Stampers!

You might be able to guess some of favorite things are treat bags. Who doesn’t love a little bag or box filled with candies or a small gift? Here, I’m using Stampin’ Up!’s new Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift Bags. They’re translucent bags with fun dots that work great for a quick gift packaging. I filled them some fun little Tootsie Rolls wrapped in July 4th paper.

I dressed the bag up with some Fourth of July decorations using the Stars Framelits; Night of Navy, Real Real and Red Glimmer paper. The sentiment can be found in the And Many More set.

I hope you enjoy your holiday weekend with some sweet treats … and, of course, friends and family.
