For Make-A-Wish

Hello Stampers!

Can you guess how many Curvy Keepsake boxes are in the pile? 94! A few friends and I created these last week, and they are being donated to our local Make-A-Wish chapter for use at their upcoming fundraising scrap — Scrap for a Cause. It will be held November 6 and 7 here in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We used Pacific Point card stock and cut the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits with the Big Shot. We actually placed the star die on one of the panels while cutting the box image to save some time. We affixed a window sheet over the hole. Now, volunteers will be able to fill the boxes with candy and be ready for the scrappers.

Thanks to Sarah, Theresa, and Kelly for helping!

Happy stamping!

Timeless Elegance

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Just give me a sponge and some ink! I am in love, love, love with Stampin’ Up!’s Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper. Creating these beautiful cards were super easy; talk about instant gratification.

I cut the DSP into pieces: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2. You can get seven pieces from one sheet of 12 x 12 paper. I used a sponged dauber and colored away. My only issue was deciding which color to try next. I topped it off with a sentiment from the Watercolor Wishes card kit stamped with the Black Archival ink and layered the piece on Basic Black and Crumb Cake Card Stock.

I have seen other samples using this paper and had to try it for myself. It’s really a WOW. Would you like to try this? Just click on the links below to purchase the supplies needed to complete this project. You will love it!

Enjoy!

If the Hat Fits

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Welcome to the September Team Stamp It blog hop. We have a full and wonderful line up of Halloween and fall projects for you. Whether you’ve come fromLiz Miller’s blog, or you started from the beginning, we’re glad you’re here!

Can you tell I love Stampin’ Up!’s glimmer paper? I used the new black glimmer paper available in the Holiday Catalog and then created some of my own colors. How? I filled the Stampin’ Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and added about fifteen drops of ink refills. For this project, I used Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie. I spritzed a whole bunch on the Silver Glimmer paper and let it dry. I then used the witch’s hat die cut from the Boo to You Framelits Dies to crop three hats.

I adorned the hats with strips of Designer Series Paper from the Brights Paper Stacks and added a glimmer star — also included in the Boo to You Framelits Dies.

It’s a fun, festive, and sparkly card for Halloween. See the product list below for a recap of all of the Stampin’ Up! supplies I used for this card. Now, off to see what Linda Cullen has created. Enjoy!
