I CASEd this card from several samples I’ve seen online. It features two layers of the hydrangea. the bottom flowers are die cut from Elegant Eggplant card stock. For the top layer, I stamped Elegant Eggplant ink onto Perfect Plum card stock. A swipe of Wink of Stella gives it a great shine. I also love the Elegant Eggplant Baker’s Twine.

Stampin’ Up!’s Mixed Drinks stamp set not only provides the basis for really fun cards, but I think it’s perfect for a wine bottle tag. Here, I’ve used one of the new In-Colors, Sweet Sugarplum, to create a fun tag to pair with a bottle of wine. A little Wink of Stella on the wine glasses gives them some shine!

Hello Stampers!

Inspiration can be found in a variety of places. In this case, the inspiration was in my back yard. (See the photo below.) A few years ago, I found the plastic flamingos at a garden store in Iowa and had to have them. The hardest part was deciding which color flamingos to buy. In Stampin’ Up! “speak,” I went with Elegant Eggplant, Daffodil Delight, and Calypso Coral. Thus, the inspiration for this card!

It features SU!’s Pop of Paradise stamp set, new in this year’s annual catalog. I also love the the Labeler Alphabet. It is so fun to create words and phrases to accompany the images!

Hello Stampers!

This card combines elements from two of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!’s new catalog: Mixed Drinks and Swirly Scribbles/Swirly Bird. I  think the color combination of Flirty Flamingo, Tempting Turquoise, and Daffodil is so fresh! This is just one of three projects we made at Wednesday’s class. (We also had a chance to sample some fun drinks from our margarita machine!) Yum!
