Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Catalogs Debut Today

Picture

Hello Stampers!

It’s the best time of the (Stampin’ Up!) year. Sale-Bration is here. Purchase $50 (before tax and shipping) of goodies from either the Annual Catalog or the brand-spanking-new spring Occasions Catalog (and even the clearance rack) or Paper Pumpkin and receive a free product from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Offerings include everything from exclusive stamp sets, to Designer Series Paper, to shimmer ribbon.

What’s even more exciting is there is an additional level this year. Spend $100 (before tax and shipping) and choose from two new products–including a new thinlits dies set.

This fun card I’m showing today uses the Party Pandas stamp set. I think this is going to be a very popular set.

Click the Shop button to purchase directly from my online store. Or contact me to help you place your order. There are a lot of fun and exclusive products available. Be sure to get one of each!

Don’t have a demonstrator? Let me know and I’ll put the brand-new catalogs in the mail. (I’ve included links to both catalogs in today’s post. Click to take a look.)

Thanks for stopping by today!

A Calendar for the New Year

Picture

Hello Stampers!

As 2018 begins, we’ll need a new calendar to keep track of time. I created a variety of desk top calendars with note pads to give as gifts this holiday season. The one pictured here is for my husband who is an avid bike rider. Stampin’ Up!’s Bike Ride set and coordinating Build a Bike Framelits made this a fun project.

The calendars are so easy to make.

Start with a base measuring 4 ¼ by 11 inches. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Thick Whisper White card stock. Score this piece at 2 ¾ inches and 5 ½ inches.

Other pieces of card stock you’ll need include: 2 each of a solid card stock cut at 5 ¼ x 4 inches. 2 each of a coordinating Designer Series Paper cut at 5 x 3 ¾ inches. You’ll need one piece cut at 3 ½ x 3 ½ inches and one at 3 ½ x 2 ¾. These could be the same color as your solid pieces.

Adhere one piece of the solid card stock to the base – the scored part that measures 5 ½ x 4 ¼. Add the DSP on top of that. Near the bottom of that piece, adhere the 3 ¼ x 3 ¼ square. That’s where you’ll put your note pad.

Fold the white card stock base toward you, on top of the piece you just decorated. Put adhesive on the bottom scored piece. Adhere the solid card stock piece to the bottom and add the DSP. At the bottom of this piece, add the last rectangle. This is where you will adhere the calendar.

Now, it’s just a matter of folding the pieces to shape it into a calendar. You are now ready to decorate the front piece any way you like.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy new year!

Looking Forward to 2018

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I hope you had a nice holiday with your family and friends. My son, my sister, and her husband were here for almost a week. We filled it with food and fun! It’s quiet around here with everyone gone.

It’s time to begin saying good-bye to 2017 and planning for 2018. I offered a New Year class and we made this “blingy” card. I love all of Stampin’ Up!’s foil and glimmer paper, and I used most of it! The circle punches made quick work of this cute card, and the silver heat embossing just adds a little zing.

The Cheers to the Year stamp set and the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper are both retiring. Be sure to order before January 2 to ensure you get these products before they are gone.

Thanks for stopping by today.
