Happy Independence Day with Stampin’ Up!
Hello Stampers!
Happy Independence Day to all of you! I hope you are enjoying time with family, friends, and neighbors!
I received this fun Fourth of July card (inspired by Mary Fish) from one of my team members, Kathy Blume. She used Stampin’ Up!’s Vases Builder Punch and Real Red and Night of Navy card stock to create a festive card. Other fun elements include the Subtle Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes Dies, and the 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Pack.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin
Hello Stampers!
One of my go-to products from Stampin’ Up! is the monthly Paper Pumpkin crafting kit. Each month, you receive a fun, red box in the mail filled with everything you need to create that project, including a stamp set, an Ink Spot, the projects, and accessories. (In your very first box, you receive a clear block so you can begin stamping right away.) The finished projects are a surprise, but Stampin’ Up! has been offering sneak peeks of the next month’s kit. See a graphic below for a hint at next month’s kit. These are fun kits that can be completed in an hour or so — a quick creative escape all in one box. Imagine yourself sitting down with your kids or grandkids or best friend for a crafting moment!
The June Kit, A Little Smile, makes 16 small, beach-themed cards and a super cute carrying case. The idea is to use these little gems as random acts of kindness, giving them to people to bless their day or thank them for their service.
I made a few cards in their original size, but I also turned a few of them into note card-size greetings. Stampin’ Up!’s note cards are perfect for this; they come pre-cut and scored. All you have to do is stamp!
For this card, I used the Whisper White note cards and envelopes. I inked the seashells with the Coastal Cabana ink spot, stamped off on a piece of scrap paper, and then stamped on the card base. I then adhered the small card onto a piece of Coastal Cabana card stock and placed it in the middle of the card. Now, it’s suitable for sending in the mail.

Stampin’ Up! Praiseworthy Prose with Patriotic Theme
I pulled together a variety of elements to celebrate the 4th of July, including Stampin’ Up!’s Praiseworthy Prose stamp set, the 6 x 6 2018-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper Pack, the lovely Blueberry Bushel foil and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
A couple of notes about this card. I used Stampin’ Writer Markers (Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushel) and colored directly onto the red rubber stamp. I gave the inked stamp a quick “huff” to re-energize the ink before stamping onto the white stitched rectangle. I punched the stars with the Twinkle Builder Punch from the Blueberry Bushel Foil (from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheet pack).
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you’re inspired to create your own card commemorating our nation’s independence. Please let me know if you have any questions about how this card came together.

Congratulations to last month’s winner: Barb Patsch.

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Punch, Medium Daisy Punch, and Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper
Hello Stampers!
I couldn’t wait to order and receive the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets. They are just so beautiful! I have a tendency to hoard papers like this, so I was brave: I cut into it! (You receive four sheets each of three different single-sided designs in Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive, and Pretty Peacock for $14.50.)
Inspired by Selene Kempton, this card features the Blueberry Bushel design. The paper does all of the work. I added the daisy — created by combining two punches from the large Daisy Punch and two punches from the Medium Daisy Punch. I put them together using glue dots and added a Pineapple Punch center using the 1/2-inch circle punch. The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and is stamped on Blueberry Bushel ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock. It worked perfectly for my Sip and Stamp event held earlier this week at a local coffee/wine shop.
Thanks for stopping by today! If you want some of this beautiful paper for your stash, you can order directly from my online store. Click on any of the photos below to browse.

Stampin’ Up! Over the Moon
Hello Stampers!
Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog has been live two weeks! There are so many fun stamp sets it’s hard to know where to start. If you love animals or cows, Over the Moon is a fun one. And, look, you can color the cows any color you want. Who’s judging?
This is a “fun fold” card, though I’m not exactly sure what the name of the fold is. I do know it doesn’t look like my typical cards! But here’s how you create it. Cut an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of card stock down the middle vertically. Your piece then measures 4 1/2 x 11. Score it at 5 1/2 inches. Then, trim a piece 2 3/4 inches from one end. That piece becomes the “swing” piece. It should measure 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 inches.
Stamp the cow image and the sentiment with Stazon Ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock cut at 4 x 2 1/2 inches. I colored the cow with a variety of Stampin’ Writer Markers, including: Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, and Coastal Cabana. These are the coordinating colors in the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper. I used that paper for the accents on the Crushed Curry base. One piece is cut at 2 1/2 x 4 inches (adhere to front flap) and another is 1 x 4 inches (adhere to Whisper White insert that’s cut at 5 1/4 x 4 inches and taped to the Crushed Curry base).
Adhere the stamped image to the Crushed Curry piece. Using Dimensionals, pop it up on the small, “swinging” panel.
It’s always a bit difficult to write the directions instead of showing. If I get requests, I could show how this card is made on a Facebook Live.
