Brightest Glow New Year Cards

It’s hard to believe 2023 is just around the corner! Let’s celebrate with some new year cards.

I don’t send a lot of new year cards. But I like to have them on hand as last-minute replies to Christmas cards received and to use as thank-you notes. Stampin’ Up!’s Brightest Glow stamp set has the perfect “Happy New Year” sentiment.

I created three different cards with that same sentiment — two on this post and one last week. Click here to see the other design that uses the Cracker & Treat Box Dies and the Split Card Texture Dies. The Brightest Glow  stamp set is currently available in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. Buy it now with the Labels Aglow Dies as a bundle and save 10 percent. Just a note: It will be carrying over and available next year.

About the Rays of Light Card

The card featured at the top of the post uses the Rays of Light stamp embossed with gold heat embossing as the background.

  • Very Vanilla card stock measuring 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ embossed in gold with Rays of Light
  • Black card stock measures 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
  • Very Vanilla card stock measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″ embossed with Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder
  • Sentiment heat embossed with gold and die cut with circle from Labels Aglow Dies

The card below uses some brand-new product that will be available beginning January 5, 2023, in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. The Alphabet A’ La Mode Dies include dies for a full alphabet and numbers. These are an exciting addition to the paper crafting product line up.

Be sure to watch the video to hear a discussion of these handmade new year cards. I just love the look of the gold heat embossing combined with the Gold Foil Sheets and black card stock.
