As an avid reader (both paper and Audible), I was attracted to Stampin’ Up!’s For the Books Bundle. Find it in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2025 Mini Catalog. I’m sorry it took me so long to get it out and ink it up. This is a perfect bundle for the books lovers out there. It’s now on the list of retiring products that are available only while supplies last.
Check out the Last Chance list by clicking here. Be sure to use the filter function on the left-hand side of the screen to help you navigate all of the retiring items. Remember, some of them are discounted.

I’m a huge fan of Stampin’ Up!’s hybrid embossing folders. These unique folders allow you to both emboss and die cut at the same time. But when I discovered that the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle also created shaped cards, I was sold. Find this bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2025 Mini Catalog.
Measurements and Details
Aren’t these cards super cute? Here are a few details to help you make this at home.
Stampin’ Up! designed its Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes to use with the shape-maker die. (Receive 20 precut and scored note cards and envelopes for just $10).
Fold the note card in half, place the die on top of both layers, lining up the top of the die just above the folded note card. Be sure to watch the video below to see exactly how this works.
Choose an patterned paper and cut it to 5 x 3 1/2. I used the Floral Delight 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.
Place the die cut on the patterned paper to get the butterfly layer.
Glue the Designer Series Paper to the white note card. I found that using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue gave me time to get the die cut straight on the card.
Die cut the label, included in the dies you receive.
With a Blending Brush, apply a light layer of Daffodil Delight ink on the label.
Stamp the sentiment with Memento Black ink.
Tie a bow in 9 inches of the 1/8″ Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon. Add to card front.
Layer the sentiment, with Stampin’ Dimensionals, over the top of the ribbon.
Add Daffodil Delight gems from the Glossy Dots Assortment.

This kit is striking as is, but here I added some Gold Thread and gold Low Profile Dots.
Do you ever look for card-making projects already designed and cut? Have you needed a quick and easy card to get in the mail right away? Would you like to take your card making on the road? Do you need a fun and fairly priced gift idea? Don’t have a lot of space to store craft supplies? I believe Stampin’ Up!’s Kit Collection ticks all those boxes.
These all-inclusive kits come with everything you need in one 9 x 6 box to complete the project. The collection includes a host of themes–from birthday, to thank you, to home decor, gift packaging and more. Some require stamping, and some don’t. Take a peek at the collection by clicking here.
Today, I share the Thank You Kindly kit. Before tax and shipping, it costs just $14 and yields eight striking cards. Right after Christmas, I made one of these kits as is and sent out thank you notes. Quick and easy!
Here’s a picture of one each of the cards made exactly as the directions state.
One each of the cards created according to directions.
The picture featured at the top of the post shows cards I “stepped up” with Gold Twisted Thread and the gold Low Profile Dots.
I also feel the simplicity of the cards’ designs lends itself to sentiments in addition to thank you. Below, I share two cards that I converted to anniversary and sympathy using the Mixed Labels Cling Stamp Set and a little bit of gold heat embossing.

I’m volunteering with KIDS Kindness Org., a local nonprofit that works to foster kindness in kids and provide fun and engaging service projects. For the next year, this organization aims to support the students at Carson Junior High in Mesa with Kindness Kits. A large portion of the kids lack even the most basic resources. The donated kits contain personal hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, etc.) as well as snacks and other small items.
Will you help me help them? Throughout the month of April, I’m hosting a fundraiser called Kits for Carson’s Kids. Here are some ways you can assist:
Purchase a Kit Online
Purchase any all-inclusive kit from Stampin’ Up!’s Kits Collection from my online store. I’ll donate a minimum of $5 per kit sold to KIDS Kindness to support Carson Junior High and the Kindness Kits project. Click here to check out all of the kits.
Do you live local and want to save on shipping? Contact me ([email protected]) to purchase the kit and pick up at my home in East Mesa.
Kit Together Event
Attend a special Kit Together from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 14, at my home in Mesa. I’ll have a large selection of available kits from which to choose. I’ll donate a minimum of $5 per kit sold. Take your kit to go or stay and create it with others. No experience necessary. You don’t even need to be crafty. Some kits entail no stamping, where others include a stamp set and mini ink pad.
Bring a donation of personal hygiene supplies such as toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, and shampoo and I’ll enter your name into a prize drawing.
Please RSVP so I can have enough kits on hand. Or request a special kit by looking at the collection online. Click here.
Please contact me if you have questions. I’m so excited about this Kits for Carson’s Kids fundraiser. It’s one way I can help make a difference for our youth. I appreciate any support you can provide.
Thank you,
Kim
