Night of Bethlehem Christmas

Night of Bethlehem Christmas

Hello Stampers! Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog has been out for about a month now. There are so many awesome sets for all of the holidays. I think I "need" a new set each time I flip through the pages. If you don't have a copy of the catalog yet, give me a holler. I'll put one in the mail to you. This is an elegant card by Lynn Felthauser featuring Soft Suede and Smoky Slate -- these colors mimic gold and silver, ad I love how she's mixed them here. It showcases the Night in Bethlehem Bundle - a stamp set with coordinating dies that are 10 percent off when you purchase them together. I hope you enjoyed Lynn's card today. I'd love to help...

Happy Halloween with Spooky Cat

Happy Halloween with Spooky Cat

Hello Stampers! Halloween is a little more than a month away. Do you have your Cat Punch yet? (The good news is that you can use the punch for more than just Halloween.) Here, stamper Shelley McVey has created a spooky Halloween card with the Spooky Cat Bundle. She also brought in the branch element from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. I really like how she focused on just black and white. Click on any of the graphics below to purchase the Spooky Cat Punch. Get the stamp set, too, and save 10 percent. Thanks for stopping by today. Brick Wall for Fall

Brick Wall for Fall

Hello Stampers, I know I'm jumping ahead a few months! I made this card for a  team challenge and I wanted to share a coupe of techniques I used. The challenge was to create a fall card using Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, and Crushed Curry. The background brick wall was created using Stampin' Up!'s Embossing Paste. I stirred in a few drops of Crushed Curry Ink Refill and spread the paste over the Brick Wall Pattern Party Decorative Mask. Such a coll technique. The big leaf was made using the baby wipe technique. I squirted drops of Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, and Cajun Craze Ink Refills onto a baby wipe, letting the colors meld with each...

Sparkly Cheers to the Year

Sparkly Cheers to the Year

Hello Stampers! Though Stampin' Up!'s Embossing Paste and the Pattern Party Decorative Masks have been available since June 1 in the new Annual Catalog, I hadn't tried them until recently. I thought it would be fun to combine it with some products from the new Holiday Catalog, specifically the Cheers to the Year stamp set. Using the Palette Knives, I grabbed a "glob" of Embossing Paste and placed it on one of Stampin' Up!'s acrylic masks. I mixed in a small spoonful of Gold Stampin' Glitter and applied the paste over the diamond mask. (I used some old washi tape to adhere my Shimmery White paper to the mask so it wouldn't move.) Spreading...

Another Spooky Cat

Another Spooky Cat

Hello Stampers! Here's another awesome creation using Stampin' Up!'s Spooky Cat Bundle. Not only does the stamp set have a lot of options, but buy the bundle (with the Cat Punch) and receive a 10 percent discount. The Cat Punch can be used for many projects. Dawn Seelhoff made the cat a focal point of this card, also using the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. Don't you love the background she created for the cat? Dawn applied Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Pacific Point ink with a sponge dauber onto a Very Vanilla square (die cut with the Stitched Shapes Fraemlits Dies). She then used the Clear Wink of Stella to give those colors a...
