Hello Stampers!
I really appreciate the versatility of the Happy Watercolor stamp set that’s offered in Stampin’ Up!’s Spring Occasions catalog.
Inspired by Ronda Wade’s stained glass technique, I had to try it with the Happy Watercolor set. Wow! it’s just so pretty!
In a nutshell, here’s what you do:
- Stamp the image in Black Stazon (or heat emboss with black embossing powder) on vellum card stock.
- Flip the image over. With your Blender Pens, color the image in the desired hues.
- Frame the image. I’ve done that here with the 2 1/2-inch circle punch.
- Adorn the card with ribbon and a sentiment. I’ve used the retiring Victoria Crochet Trim and sentiment from the hostess set Express Yourself.
The Happy Watercolor set is available through June 1.
Happy stamping!
