Stampin’ Up!’s biggest and best sale of the year, Sale-A-Bration, begins tomorrow, January 6. Spend $50 (before tax and shipping) and receive a free gift. The offerings are many and include exclusive stamp sets, Designer Series Paper, ribbon/button accessory package, and Blendabilities markers.
One of the selections is a really cool Specialty Designer Series Paper called Irresistibly Yours. This white paper with a glossy white pattern is perfect for coloring using a variety of techniques like sponging, brayering, or spritzing. Coloring reveals the pattern. In this card, it’s a polka dot design.
For this 3 x 3, I started with a 6 inch by 3 inch pieces of Irresistibly Yours card stock and scored it at 3 inches.
I used a Stampin’ Sponge and sponged Wisteria Wonder ink all over the 6 x 3 piece. I used a paper towel to remove the excess ink. Pretty cool!
I stamped the flower image from the Crazy About You stamp set (available in the spring Occasions catalog beginning tomorrow) in Elegant Eggplant ink and punched it out with the Flower Medallion Punch, also available in the spring Occasions. I topped it off with a rhinestone jewel.
