Today, I’m sharing one of the cards we made during my monthly in-person classes in Mesa, Arizona, with Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely Arrangements Bundle. I shared a quick sponging technique using one of the die cuts. Do you see the one below with the pattern?
I cut a piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock to 2 3/4 x 3 1/4 and die cut with the patterned piece. I then placed the cardstock on my card base and sponged on Secret Sea ink with a sponge dauber. Basically, I made a stencil, and it creates a really fun background.
Measurements and Details
- Crumb Cake cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
- Sponge the background using the above directions using the stencil. I applied the ink in the upper left corner and bottom right.
- Secret Sea cardstock measuring 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, die cut with the multi-circle die cut shape
- Flowers stamped in Secret Sea and die cut with coordinating dies
- Sentiment stamped in Secret Sea and die cut with coordinating die
- Secret Sea 3/8-inch Bordered Open Weave Ribbon
- Moody Palette Glossy Dots
