Hello Stampers!
Doesn’t this card just whisper spring? It’s so fresh and beautiful. Inspired by Ann Schach (her lovely card sported a few more layers than mine!), this features the Butterfly Basics stamp set with the coordinating Butterflies Thinlits Dies. The flowers highlight this creation. I stamped the image with Black Stazon and used the Blender Pens to water color the flowers. Perhaps the most time consuming was fussy cutting (or cutting by hand) the flower image. Stampin’ Up!’s paper snips, however, made the job a little easier. Fussy cutting is not usually my strong suit, but I persevered! It didn’t even cross my mind to make more than one of this design.
The good news is this set (which debuted in Stampin’ Up!’s Spring Occasions catalog) is also included in its new 2015-2016 Annual Catalog. I’ve seen so many beautiful cards created with this versatile set . And, we’ll get to play with it for at least another year.
Enjoy!
