Lovely Arrangements Hello Friend

Lovely Arrangements Hello Friend

Today, I’m sharing one of the cards we made during my monthly in-person classes in Mesa, Arizona, with Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely Arrangements Bundle. I shared a quick sponging technique using one of the die cuts. Do you see the one below with the pattern?

I cut a piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock to 2 3/4 x 3 1/4 and die cut with the patterned piece. I then placed the cardstock on my card base and sponged on Secret Sea ink with a sponge dauber. Basically, I made a stencil, and it creates a really fun background.

Lovely Arrangements Bundle

Measurements and Details

  • Crumb Cake cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Sponge the background using the above directions using the stencil. I applied the ink in the upper left corner and bottom right.
  • Secret Sea cardstock measuring 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, die cut with the multi-circle die cut shape
  • Flowers stamped in Secret Sea and die cut with coordinating dies
  • Sentiment stamped in Secret Sea and die cut with coordinating die
  • Secret Sea 3/8-inch Bordered Open Weave Ribbon
  • Moody Palette Glossy Dots

I do love this bundle for its variety of sentiments and its unique die cuts. Check out another card here.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Please let me know if you have questions about this DIY project or any others.

Thanks,

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s March Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us. This month, we feature handmade greeting cards and projects focusing on Easter. Visit each blog on the hop to gain inspiration for your Easter and spring crafting. Be sure to comment on each for your chance to win an Adventure Awaits Kit.

This simple Diagonal Joy Fold packs a big punch. Especially when you add Stampin’ Up!’s Easter Joy 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper. It features playful bunnies, Easter eggs, blooming flowers, and festive baskets, all with a hint of metallic foil shine.

Measurements and Details

  • Shy Shamrock cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
  • Place your card base in the Stampin’ Trimmer. At the top, on the score line, align the top left corner in the trimmer track, rotate the piece so the bottom right point aligns in the trimmer track. You want to cut a diagonal. Be sure to watch the video to see this in action.
  • Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper measuring 5 1/4 x 4. Align the top left point of the DPS in the trimmer track, rotate the DSP so the bottom right point aligns in the trimmer track at the same time. Cut a diagonal piece. You can now create two cards from these two pieces.
  • Easter Joy Designer Series Paper measuring 5 1/4 x 4 (striped pattern)
  • Shy Shamrock cardstock measuring 8 x 3, scored at 4 and folded in half
  • Easter Joy Designer Series Paper (egg and flower pattern) measuring 3 3/4 x 2 3/4
