Hello Stampers!

We are sad we have to say good-bye to a fellow stamper and demonstrator. But we wish her well as she moves closer to her kids and grandkids in Tennessee!

I met Kathy a couple of years ago at a craft show. She stopped by our booth and said her sister loved to craft, but at the time Kathy didn’t. We gave her a class schedule, and she was at the next class … and almost every one thereafter! She became a demonstrator and was a great role model for other stampers. (She even recruited her sister to join Stampin’ Up!) We will miss Kathy, but a few of us will get to see her at the convention in Salt Lake City. (She’s taking advantage of the free registration offer!)

The “I Miss You Already” sentiment comes from the Just Sayin’ stamp set (available now in the Spring Occasions catalog) and also in the upcoming 2014-2015 Idea Book and Catalog. I used the coordinating Word Bubbles framelits to cut out the sentiment.

It’s a very simple and fun card. It says what we want to say!

Hello stampers!

It’s graduation weekend here in Lincoln, Nebraska. Lots of celebrations going on!

So, of course, there’s been a demand for graduation cards. Here’s one card I created — CASEd from Georgia Giguere. This card could be given to any graduate, and you could also change the colors to match a particular school. This was also one of the offerings at my fundraiser last week.

Many thanks to everyone who came to stamp yesterday to support my friend battling non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I appreciate your support! Through cards sales (cards were $2 each and stampers could make as many as they wanted) and donations, we raised well over $200. That’s just wonderful for an afternoon of stamping!
