Hello Stampers!
Each month, a fun group of volunteers from the Lincoln Community Women’s Club comes to my home, and we spend the morning creating handmade greeting cards to donate to the local Make-A-Wish Foundation chapter. We try to include birthday, thinking of you and thank-you cards as well as cards that send the child off on their wish.
Here’s the birthday card we made this last Monday. I just love the colors in Stampin’ Up!’s Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper — Crushed Curry, Pistachio Pudding, and Tangelo Twist!
The bicycle comes from the Cycle Celebration stamp set, and the card was accented with washi tape from the Sweet Sadie collection. The shape was cut with the Oval Accent Bigz Clear die.
Thanks to these wonderful women who arrive at my doorstep each month!

Hello Stampers!
I have a soft spot for basset hounds. Our dog Max died more than five years ago, and he was the best dog ever. (Except for when he was stealing loaves of bread and sticks of butter off the counter, snarfing tomatoes out of the sink where we put them for safekeeping, and standing on the dining room table!)
Read on to find a picture of his lovable face! But we often have the opportunity to babysit another basset hound named Lola. She is a hoot! She loves to sing along with musical toys!
Lola’s owner is celebrating a birthday today, and so I had to create a special card. The Stampin’ Up! products used in the card include:
- Early Espresso, Whisper White and Marina Mist card stock
- Subtles Color Collection DSP
- Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Just Sayin’ Stamp Set
- Word Bubbles Framelits
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do!

Here’s our pooch Max! We miss him!

Hello Stampers!I can’t wait to receive September’s My Paper Pumpkin kit. It will be fun making these great burlap treat pouches. You, too, can also receive this kit.
My Paper Pumpkin is Stampin’ Up!’s monthly subscription program. Each month (for only $19.95 including shipping), you receive a kit filled with everything — stamps, ink, and accessories (except adhesive) — to make that month’s project. It could be a home decor project or greeting cards or treat packets.
The good news is you can get this kit for half off the regular price — about $10 + the applicable sales tax for your state. In fact, get two monthly kits in a row for half price. To enroll, go to the link below and click Join Here. The deadline is September — so hurry! Don’t miss out!

Love, love, love little treat boxes! How cute are these? They are the perfect size for a few pieces of candy! Think about giving these to your coworkers, bridge group members, bowling team, bunco friends, or grandchildren!
You’ll find all of the products to make these little cuties in Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalog. I started with the Tiny Treat Boxes that are 2 x 2 x 2. You get 25 of them for just $6.95.
I covered them with the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper and tied them up with the White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim.
The sentiment comes from the Holiday Invitation set and it’s die cut with the Word Bubbles Framelits found in the Idea Book and Catalog.
So simple and just so cute! Don’t forget the candy!
