Birthday Greetings

Hello Stampers!

Celebrating a birthday is a lot of fun, especially when the mailbox is filled with handmade greeting cards. Today, I’m sharing a few of the cards I received from my stamping friends! Thanks to all! I appreciate the creativity and time that went into creating these greetings.

Thanks to Ruth Grosscup for this lovely card. The embossing folder makes a great backdrop. Love the butterfly punched with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.

This card was created by Beth Doty, another member of Kim’s Paper Krafters. She lives in Tucson. I love this bright and cheery card with all of the elements, including the Balloon Bash stamp set and the Hello You Thinlits Dies.

This beauty was made by Karen Page, my stamping sideline here in Lincoln, Nebraska. Here she’s used some of the free items from the Sale-A-Bration brochure as well as a stamp from the Because You Care set. She always adds great detail.

Crazy About You Birthday!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record telling you how versatile the Crazy About You set is. Here’s a birthday card to prove it! This card, inspired by Deb Fearns, uses the color combinations of So Saffron and Smoky Slate.

It came together quickly. We:

  • Punched the medallion at the top of the Smoky Slate card stock
  • Stamped the flower medallion in So Saffron and punched it with the coordinating punch
  • Stamped the leaf image in Memento Black and stamped “off” twice before applying it to the card stock
  • Stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment full strength
  • Curled the edges of the flower with a bone folder
  • Adhered the flower to the white card stock
  • Attached a black Candy Dot (love these things!)
  • Attached all layers together

It’s ready to send for those 16+ birthdays this month!

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy! Shop for any of the items featured on today’s card by clicking the product below.

Crazy About You …

Picture

Hello Stampers!

As I promised last week, here is another card using Stampin’ Up!’s Crazy About You stamp set. With the two flower images, the leaves, and all of the words, the possibilities are endless for this set! This is one of the four items we created at last week’s class.

The stamp set can be found in the new spring Occasions catalog and is available in wood mount, clear mount, and photopolymer. The card features the new Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, also available in the new Occasions catalog (get yours today!).

Even better news is that the Angled Tag Topper Punch is on sale this week as part of Stampin’ Up!’s Weekly Deals. It’s now on sale for $17.21. It, too, is a versatile accessory for stamping and crafting projects.

See below for the list of products used to create this cheerful card. All of these supplies and more are available 24/7 from my online store.

Remember, Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-A-Bration sale goes on through March 31. For each $50 purchase (before tax and shipping), receive your choice of a free item from the brochure. Choose from exclusive stamp sets, Designer Series Paper, and Blendabilities.

I still have dates open to host a party. Contact me soon if you’d like to have some fun with your friends while creating something beautiful.

Enjoy!

Enjoy the Day!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

How about some bright flowers to bring some cheer to your day? I’m just loving the color combination!

Here, I’m playing with two new items from Stampin’ Up!’s spring Occasions catalog: The Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies and the new stamp set called Crazy About You.

The bag is so cool because you can fill it with treats or you can use it as an envelope. (See the photo below for a simple card insert I created.) This treat bag also fits inside a regular A2 envelope.

The stamp set is so very versatile. It comes with two flowers, each with a coordinating punch. And, there are a variety of sentiment options to help you say what you need to say. (I didn’t use the sentiments here, but check back in a couple of days for another card using this same set.)

See the list below for all of the products I used to created this fun project. Feel free to shop from my online store. Click here.

I quickly created this little insert that fits neatly inside the treat bag. What a great way to say “Happy Birthday.”
