Hello Stampers!I needed a quick, easy, and cute card for my month Make-A-Wish monthly stamping. A group of volunteers from the Lincoln Community Women’s Club comes to my home each month and we make about 40 cards that are donated to our local Make-A-Wish organization.
I find myself turning to washi tape, and here I’m using Stampin’ Up!’s It’s My Party Designer Washi Tape. The stamp is from the coordinating Party Wishes stamp set. I am so sad that these products will be retiring May 31 when the sales period for the Occasions Catalog ends. I have absolutely loved this suite of products, including the It’s My arty Designer Series Paper Stack. I used the new Balloon Bouquet punch and grabbed some scraps from this stack.
This card went together quickly, but it has the cute factor as well.
Happy stamping!

Hello Stampers! It’s that time of year! Celebrating the accomplishments of a variety of students graduating from a variety of institutions. We have two relatives graduating from high school this year. I spent Saturday morning making some cards.
This card uses Stampin’ Up!’s Sunburst Sayings stamp set in conjunction with the Sunburst Thinlit. “Shine: It’s Your Day”” is a perfect sentiment for a graduation! The centerpiece is the gold sunburst made from gold glimmer paper. How did I create this image? Cut out the Sunburst Thinlits from a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of gold glimmer paper. Place a circle framelit over the area you want to keep. Run through the Big Shot. So striking! Some other elements that may not be visible from this photo include the use of the stars embossing folder on the black background and the Gold Silver Foil paper layer.
This card could also be used to celebrate a wedding.
Enjoy!

Hello Stampers! Thanks to Ruth for submitting cards for my Retiring Stamp Set Challenge. The card above features the retiring Just Kidding photopolymer stamp set that sells for $16. (She included fun sentiments inside, but I’m just sharing the card fronts.)
The card below uses the Giggle Greetings stamp set available in wood and clear mount. Both sets have fun, witty sentiments for those special people in your life. She had a little fun coloring the images!
I’ve included a list of all the retiring stamp sets at the end of this post. Click on the photos and you’ll be taken directly to my store. Get them while they last!
Enjoy!

Hello Stampers!I have a confession to make! I am obsessed with washi tape. I had rolls and rolls and rolls of it. I finally gave some of it away to my team members so I could get more. I was brainstorming about different ways to use all of the colorful washi tape in my stash, and here are a couple of cards using Stampin’ Up!’s Balloon Bouquet Punch in conjunction with the washi tape.
I adhered the It’s My Party Designer Washi Tape to scraps of Whisper White card stock. I then punched balloons from the Balloon Bouquet Punch. So fun and cheery! What are some creative ways you use washi tape?
This Washi Tape and the featured stamp set (Party Wishes) won’t be available after May 31. Get them before they’re gone. Click on any of the images below to shop 24/7 from my online store.
Reminder: It’s Retiring Challenge. Email me a card using any of Stampin’ Up’s retiring stamp sets. I’ll include your card on my blog and draw from all entries to win the Pedal Pushers stamp set. My email address is: [email protected].
Enjoy!
