Hello Stampers!

It’s an exciting day! Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalog is now live! it’s full of brand-new stamp sets, Designer Series Papers, ribbons, die cuts, punches, and more for Halloween, fall and holiday crafting.

This card features a new stamp set called Merry Little Labels. It has a coordinating Everyday Label Punch. The Designer Series Paper is awesome–Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper. It offers classic foil designs. I used Soft Suede ink and card stock to mimic the gold found in the foil.

Need a Holiday Catalog? Let me know and I’ll get one to you!

These Daisies are Delightful

Hello Stampers,

Ever since Stampin’ Up!’s new Annual Catalog debuted in June, the Daisy Delight stamp set and coordinating punch have been really popular. There are just so many fun ways to use the images and punch.

Here, Beth Doty shows a creative version of her daisy garden. She’s also added a unique background; she sponged Early Espresso ink on one of the Pattern Party Decorate Masks.

See the graphics below for a list of supplies to make this beautiful card that includes a lot of detail elements.

Carols of Christmas Early Release

Picture

Hello Stampers!

It’s hard to believe Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog will be out September 1. (And it’s a good one!) But for those of you who want to get started on your holiday cards, we’ve released a stamp set and coordinating Card Front Builder dies early. It’s called Carols of Christmas, and it offers some awesome images and die cuts! You can purchase the stamp set and dies separately, but you get a 10 percent discount when you buy them together.

For this card,  I embossed the greeting in gold and layered it on a Gold Foil Sheet. The trees die cut are a part of this wonderful set. Do you see the deer in the corner? The background is the Sheet Music stamp. I stamped it in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla card stock and then took a sponge to the paper with Soft Suede.

I’ve included a video below and a list of the supplies I used to make this card.

Creative Fun For Everyone

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Sharing another fun card today using Stampin’ Up!’s Crafting Forever stamp set. It has really fun sentiments that match the images:

Crafting Forever. Housework Whenever. (This one applies to me!)
Do Something Creative Everyday
We Are Cut Out To Be Friends
Made With Love

Here, Theresa Huffman pairs the Crafting Forever set with the Watercolor Wash background stamp to create a stunning card. I love the color combination of Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist.

Celebrating Hubby’s Birthday

Picture

OK, so maybe my husband doesn’t ride a bike as snazzy as this! It does look like something we’d ride a beach in a sunny place somewhere! But I had to recognize his birthday with a card reflecting one of his hobbies. Creating a black bike was just too boring; it called for some bright like Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay.

I used the fun new stamp set Bike Ride and its coordinating framelits dies. These can be found in Stampin’ Up!s new Annual Catalog on page 20. The stamps and dies allow for so many variations. Do you want a basket that hold flowers, books, or apples? Do you want a dog riding along? All of these are possible with this awesome set.

To create a “scene,” I needed to draw from a few other stamp sets including Timeless Textures, Lift Me Up, and Beautiful Bouquet. I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to make the seat, handlebars, and pedal shiny.

Click on any of the pictures below to purchase the Stampin’ Up! products used to create my husband’s birthday card.
