Hello Stampers!Though Stampin’ Up!’s Embossing Paste and the Pattern Party Decorative Masks have been available since June 1 in the new Annual Catalog, I hadn’t tried them until recently. I thought it would be fun to combine it with some products from the new Holiday Catalog, specifically the Cheers to the Year stamp set.
Using the Palette Knives, I grabbed a “glob” of Embossing Paste and placed it on one of Stampin’ Up!’s acrylic masks. I mixed in a small spoonful of Gold Stampin’ Glitter and applied the paste over the diamond mask. (I used some old washi tape to adhere my Shimmery White paper to the mask so it wouldn’t move.) Spreading the paste is just like making a peanut butter sandwich. Immediately after pulling the mask from the paper, I put the mask in my container filled with warm soapy water to prevent the paste from sticking to the mat. This was fun and easy, and I love the glittery look.
I added a nice selection of other gold products available in the Stampin’ Up! catalog to create this lovely wedding card. The sentiment came from the Cheers to the Year stamp set.
See the graphics below for a list of materials used to create this card.
If you have questions about how to use the embossing paste, I’d be happy to help!
Thanks for visiting today.

Hello Stampers! Here’s another awesome creation using Stampin’ Up!’s Spooky Cat Bundle. Not only does the stamp set have a lot of options, but buy the bundle (with the Cat Punch) and receive a 10 percent discount. The Cat Punch can be used for many projects.
Dawn Seelhoff made the cat a focal point of this card, also using the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. Don’t you love the background she created for the cat? Dawn applied Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Pacific Point ink with a sponge dauber onto a Very Vanilla square (die cut with the Stitched Shapes Fraemlits Dies). She then used the Clear Wink of Stella to give those colors a little shine, added Clear Embossing Powder, and heated it with the Heat Tool.
I hope you have been enjoying the cards created by the members of Kim’s Paper Krafters for our Holiday Catalog swap.

Hello Stampers!Halloween costumes, candy, and decorations are in the stores! Time to start preparing for the little ghosts and goblins. For this card, Kathy Blume uses Stampin’ Up!’s Spooky Cat Bundle to create this Halloween-themed card. Be sure to look at the picture below to see the inside of the card; it has a unique opening.
There’s a whole suite of coordinating Spooky Cat products that include a stamp set, a coordinating Cat Punch, Designer Series Paper, Treat Tubes, Vintage Crochet Trim, and Black Rhinestone Jewels. Take a look at pages 52 and 53 of the Holiday Catalog to check out all of the cute projects. One of the best features of the suite is that the Cat Punch matches both the stamp set and the Designer Series Paper. There are two sheets of 12 x 12 paper that feature just the cats — Black and Pumpkin Pie. They fit the punch perfectly and make creating projects a snap.
For this card, Kathy punched the cats from black card stock and added faces with the stamp set. A fun element here is the trim created with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch.
I hope you enjoy Kathy’s card today. She is a member of Kim’s Paper Krafters and participated in our swap.
Happy stamping!

Hello Friends! The last couple of days in Nebraska have sure felt like fall with cool evening and early morning temperatures. I’m not ready for fall, but that’s how it works.
Stampin’ Up!, however, is ready for fall with the Painted Harvest stamp set and coordinating Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. Here, Theresa Huffman has put together a stunning card that speaks fall. This lovely paper also has a coordinating Leaf Punch. It makes crafting waaaaay easier! No fussy cutting here!
This new stamp set, as well as many, many others, is available in Stampin’ Up!’s new Holiday Catalog. Contact me if you need a copy. Click on the images below to order the items used to create this beautiful card.

Hello Stampers! There are so many fun and new items in Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalog. One of the tools I love is the Winter Wonder Textured Embossing Folder. I like it’s large size and I like all of the possibilities it presents. Here, I’ve embossed some Gold Foil paper, and it’s awesome. Imagine the same folder with Silver Foil, Shimmery White, Copper Foil, or the the Champagne Foil.
Can you believe there is no stamping on this card? (Gasp!) It’s all paper. I used a circle punch to grab one of the foil snowflakes in the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Paper. I layered it on a Gold Foil circle and finally, a black circle. I topped it off with a new Black Rhinestone (those Black Rhinestones are good for more than just Halloween!).
I hope you are enjoying the products int he new Holiday Catalog. Let me know if you need a copy!
Enjoy!
