A Critter Celebration

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Aren’t these critters super adorable? They look like they are having so much fun! My team member, Patty Kreifels, created a celebratory scene using a variety of Stampin’ Up! products including We Must Celebrate, Brusho Crystal Colour, Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens.

The stamp set is available in Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog. There’s still time to get your hands on this cute set and create with your own critters.

Thanks for stopping by today. Check below to see the products Patty used to make this card.

Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts

Picture

Hello Stampers,

There are just so many awesome new stamp sets in Stampin’ Up!s Occasions Catalog, including this one, Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts. My team member, Beth Doty, pulled it out to create this stunning card.

She stamped the image in Memento Ink and colored with Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Pencils. It’s just so pretty!

This card is part of a team swap held this month. Our members created cards using products from the Occasions Catalog and shared them. Would you like to join?

Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-A-Bration is a great time to do this. Choose $125 worth of product for just $99. And, choose two additional stamp sets of any value free. This is all shipped free. Then, just start enjoying your discount to create beautiful cards and projects. Please let me know if you have questions. The special runs through March 31.

Becoming a part of Kim’s Paper Krafters is a lot of fun. I offer monthly team meetings (which are broadcast on FB live) where we always complete a fun project. Our team Facebook page offers tips, samples, support, and challenges (with prizes).

Thanks for stopping by today.

Brusho Birthday

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Had a lot of fun playing with Stampin’ Up!’s Brusho Colour Crystals in this weekend’s class. This card uses the pieces from our practice color palette (see the photo below).

Brusho comes in five colors: Brilliant Red, Gamboge (an orangish hue), Moss Green, Prussian Blue, and Yelllow.

Just to have the guests get a feel for the colors and use of, we applied water to watercolor paper with Stampin’ Up!’s Aqua Painters. We then sprinkled the Brusho onto paper and water and watched the magic happen. (The Brushos activate when they hit water.) These little swatches just gave us a good idea of what each color could look like. You get a different result each time depending on the amount of water and crystals used. (See photo below.)

I was brainstorming for a way to use these little pieces. I decided to use the Stitched Shapes Framlits Squares to cut a portion of the color. I then adhered four of the five onto a piece of basic black card stock. I layered this onto a piece of Shimmery White paper I had on the table. I picked up the Perennial Birthday stamp set for the sentiment and “dot” pattern in Dapper Denim.

The Brushos are an awesome technique for creating backgrounds and washes. This is just one of the many examples of the cards made with these fun crystals.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you get a chance to play with Brushos!

Hello Stampers!

Today I’m sharing a card created by one of my team members, Angela Schmit. Every few months, the members of my team, Kim’s Paper Krafters, participate in a card swap. This swap focused on items from Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog that debuted early January. During the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing the cards created by the very talented members of my team.

Have you thought about purchasing Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit? If you have a lot on your wish list or if you want to be a part of a fun and supportive group, Sale-A-Bration is a great time to take the leap. Right now, choose $125 worth of product from either the Annual Catalog or Occasions Catalog (or even the Clearance Rack) and pay just $99 + tax. Shipping is free! In addition, choose two stamps sets of any value free! This is an awesome deal.

Once you order the kit, you can begin earning a 20 percent discount/instant income. You’re not required to host parties or workshops – unless you want to! Just enjoy the discount. And, you become part of a supportive and fun team of other crafters.

Valentine Treats for the Office

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Valentine treats are all ready to go for hubby’s office tomorrow. Who doesn’t love a little chocolate?

I was able to reconfigure Stampin’ Up!’s January Paper Pumpkin kit to make these cute treat holders. Originally designed as cards, I just needed a bit of adhesive to turn them into a pouch. Changed the sentiments (from Teeny Tiny Wishes) to better reflect the work environment.

Have you tried Paper Pumpkin? It’s a monthly kit delivered to your home (in a cute box) containing everything you need to complete the month’s project. And, it’s always a surprise. It could be cards or treat packets or something else. A one-month subscription is only $20 + tax (shipping is included).

The March kit celebrates five years of Paper Pumpkin. The kit includes a fantastic, FREE gift and a specially designed, one-of-a-kind box. This kit is gorgeous, collectible, and is almost sure to go down in Paper Pumpkin history as an all-time customer favorite!

Here are some of the details

  • The free gift complements the kit but is not needed to complete the kit.
  • The free gift is exclusive to the March Paper Pumpkin kit and cannot be found anywhere else.
  • The free gift is a crafting product with a wide range of use that can be used on a variety of papercrafting projects.
  • The free gift holds an approximate retail value of $6-$8 when compared to similar products offered by Stampin’ Up!.
  • Subscribe between February 11–March 10 at 11:50 PM.

Thanks for stopping by today. Click on any of the links below to purchase a Paper Pumpkin subscription. You can purchase a 1-, 3-, 6-, or 12-month subscription. You’ll receive a code via email after you place your order. Set up your account and you’re good to go. I can’t wait to see the March kit!
