Sweet Treats

Picture

Hello Stampers!

One of my favorite items to create are treat packets. I look for all kinds of ways to package candy and chocolate! This little package is actually half of one of Stampin’ Up!’s Kraft Pillow Boxes. They are available in the Annual Catalog, and you receive 10 pillow boxes (5 x 3) for just $5.00. When you cut them in half (I just used the Stampin’ Trimmer), you can make 20 easy treats. Although lots of things would fit inside, I added one York’s Peppermint Patty.

With the dotted pattern, the boxes are good to go as is, but it’s always fun to decorate them. I created about 12 in all, mixing and matching the 2018-2020 In Colors with the ink, 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, Grosgrain Ribbon, and the super cute binder clips. The sentiment is from the Treat Time stamp set and coordinating Petite Treat Framelits Dies.

Thanks for stopping by today. Let me know if you have questions about how to create these sweet treats! I’ve added a list of products used to make them at the bottom of this post. Click on any of the photos to go directly to my online store.

A “Wild” Thank You

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Stampin’ Up!’s Animal Outing stamp set and the coordinating Animals Friends Thinlits Dies are just too fun. I had to keep playing. (You’ll see previous posts using this set. Here’s one.)

Here, I tried a window card. I die cut a circle through the front of the Crumb Cake base and placed the rhinoceros on the inside of the card, so there’s a little treat when you open it.

There are a couple of other fun features on this card. The inside Lemon Lime Twist card stock was embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder. It gives the paper just the right amount of texture. I also love the leaf ribbon; it’s just a fun embellishment to add to the “in the wild” card.

Look below for a list of the products used to create this card. Click on any of the graphics to be taken directly to my online store.

Remember, the Buy 3, Get 1 Free Designer Series Paper sale runs through July 31. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on lots of fun paper for both card making and scrapbooking.

Sea of Textures Shaker Card

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Independence Day. Here in Nebraska it was hot, and we spent the day with friends at the pool. But I would take an ocean any day and every day. That’s why I love Stampin’ Up!’s  Sea of Textures stamp set and additional coordinating products such as the Under the Sea Framelits Dies, Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper, and the Tranquil Textures Sprinkles. I used all of these to create today’s shaker card.

And, the Designer Series Paper used in this card is part of the Buy 3, Get 1 Free Designer Series Paper sale which runs through July 31. Here are the styles offered in this awesome special.

Happy Fourth of July!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Wow! June flew by in a flash, and the Fourth of July is near.  I love making and sending greeting cards for holidays, including Independence Day!

I used Stampin’ Up!’s new In Colors of Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick. The “fireworks” stamps come from the Eastern Beauty stamp set. And the “celebrate,” in Silver Foil, is a new die from the Celebrate You Thinlits.

Just a fun, festive card to kick off the month with a bang!

All of the products used in this card are available in Stampin’ Up!’s new Annual Catalog and can also be found in my online store. Click on the photo links below to take a look!

Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!

Great Day for a Ride!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I hope you’ve had a chance to look through Stampin’ Up!’s new Annual Catalog. Every time I browse, I find something new and something I just have to have! (If you don’t have a copy, let me know and I’ll get one to you!)

Today’s card features the Enjoy Life stamp set and Lovely Lipstick (one of Stampin’ Up!’s new In Colors. I created the “rolling” bicycle effect with the Stamparatus, the awesome stamp positioning tool. The hinge feature allows you to stamp images consistently on your card stock.

Thanks for stopping by today. As always, if you have questions, give me a holler.
