All that Shimmers!

Picture

Hello Stampers,

Tucked away on page 38 of Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalog, you’ll find a product that’s returning to the lineup: Shimmer Paint. And, man, is it fun! There are so many ways to use the four colors. I just can’t get enough of it.

For this card, I applied the Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint directly to my stamp with a sponge dauber. I then stamped the image onto the Blackberry Bliss card stock. It is so stunning!

I’ve used the other colors to add shimmer on backgrounds and embossed images. What a fun way to add some glitz to your holiday projects for just $8 a bottle!

I also want to call your attention to another fun element on this card. If you look closely, you can see that I embossed one of the designs from the Country Lane Designer Series Paper with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Thanks for stopping by today. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about this card or other Stampin’ Up! products.

Bubbles and Bubbly and Bath Bombs

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Today, I’m showing you a fun gift I created in collaboration with the Sasman family in Lincoln, Nebraska. Derek and his wife, Maddie, and their kids make bath bombs to help generate some extra spending money for the kiddos. The bombs pictured above are lavender, but they are making pumpkins for fall and a host of other scents for the holidays and winter.

I thought the bath bombs paired perfectly with Stampin’ Up!s Bubbles and Bubbly set. I created a tag using that stamp set and packaged them up for my team. They are just so fun to give as a unique gift. Even though I’m primarily a card maker, I love the fact that Stampin’ Up! products can be used for so many things.

Toil and Trouble

Picture

Hello Stampers!

There’s just so much to love to Stampin’ Up!’s Cauldron Bubble bundle.

  • The Cauldron Bubble stamp set sports some super cute images, including a cat, a ghost, and the witch.
  • The Cauldron Framelits Dies cut images directly from the Toil and Trouble Designer Series Paper.
  • The Spooky Bats Punch punches the bats in the Designer Series paper.
  • The Black 3/8-inch Glittered Organdy Ribbon is really sparkly and can be used for an array of projects. Not just for Halloween.
  • Oh, and those Black Foil Sheets. Perfect for a background piece, to punch the bats, and the spider web.
  • The Spider Trinkets add a special touch to your Halloween projects.

For this card, I’ve created a mini sampler using a variety of images from the stamp set and dies. I love the combination of colors: Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, and Gorgeous Grape.

Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalog is Live!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Today is a great day! Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Catalog is now live, and it’s filled with an awesome variety of products for your Halloween, fall, Christmas, and winter crafting.

Dashing Deer is one of my favorite bundles – the Dashing Deer stamp set and coordinating Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies. Buy as a bundle and receive a 10 percent discount.

I received this bundle as a gift during the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Alaska and got playing with it immediately. This is a swap card I shared with other demonstrators who earned the trip. It features the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Black 3/8-inch Glittered Organdy Ribbon (it’s not just for Halloween). I heat embossed the sentiment in copper. I love the combination of Soft Suede and copper!

Let me know if you need a coy of the Holiday Catalog. I’d love to put one in the mail if you’re not already working with another demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today!
