Thank You Big Time!
Hello Stampers! Stampin’ Up!’s Animal Outing stamp set has been calling my name! It’s been sitting out on my craft table, so I had to play! Just love the playful rhinoceros, kangaroo and giraffe images. In addition to the stamp set and coordinating dies, Stampin’ Up! offers additional complementary products, such as the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper ($11) and the Leaf Ribbon ($8) that I’ve used in this card. Remember, when you purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle, you receive a 10 percent discount. A list of the products used to create this card can be found below. Thanks for stopping by today! I’d love to answer...

Wild about You with Animal Outing
Hello Stampers! There are so many awesome new items in Stampin’ Up!’s new catalog it’s hard to choose what to play with first! The Animal Outing stamp set and coordinating Animal Friends Thinlits Dies (buy them as a bundle and receive a 10 percent discount) are just so cute! The Animal Expedition 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper complements both. And, you can use the framelits to die cut some of the images, including the rhino, giraffe and kangaroo, from two sheets of the paper. This card uses the animal images die cut from the Animal Expedition, a Lemon Lime Twist panel, and a small sliver of the animal print, and a piece of the Wood...

Clean and Simple Daisy Delight Goes Live
Hello Stampers! I tend to gravitate toward clean-and-simple cards as much as I love introducing new crafters to the art of rubber stamping. This is a great card to start with. I offered an introductory class to members of a networking organization I just joined, and they loved this card. It features the Delightful Daisy stamp set and coordinating Daisy Punch, as well as the 2018-2020 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. Want to learn how to make this card? Join me Monday night at 7 p.m. Central Time for a Facebook Live presentation on https://www.facebook.com/KimQuadePlaysWithPaper#. Look below for the list of products I used to...

Lovely Floral Thank You
Hello Stampers, If you’re like me, your crafting space is littered with pieces from an assortment of projects. Sometimes, I scoop them into a pile and deal with them later. But, this time, I began to put a few of the pieces together, and this is the card that grew from that. It started with a piece of whisper white card stock cut at 5 inches by 3 ¾ inches. I embossed it with Stampin’ Up!’s new Lovely Floral Embossing folder. I then used a circle die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and die cut a piece out of the middle of the embossed sheet. I used the Sponge Brayer to apply Melon Mambo ink to the back side of one of the new...

Hinge-Step Stamping with the Stamparatus
Hello Stampers! One of the awesome products in Stampin’ Up!’s new Annual Catalog is the Stamparatus, a unique stamp positioning tool. Priced at $49, it’s designed for use with both the photopolymer and red rubber clear mount stamps. With a base measuring 7 inches by 7 inches, it features two removable hinge plates that lend themselves to two-step, three-step, and even four-step stamping. The hinges allow for a new technique we’re calling “hinge-step stamping.” I used this to create the card in the post. I selected the happy birthday stamp from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and Stampin’ Up!’s new In Colors of: Call Me Clover,...
