Blooming with Kindness Birthday

Picture

Hello Stampers!

A friend and fellow demonstrator celebrated a birthday this past week. Here’s the card I created using Stampin’ Up!’s Blooming with Kindness stamp set. I’ve been on a heat embossing frenzy in the past month, and this card is no exception.

I inked the flower in Versamark, tapped it on the Night of Navy ink pad, and finally stamped the image on the Typeset Designer Series Paper. I applied Clear Embossing Powder and heated it with the Heat Tool. Love it!

With the sponge and Night of Navy ink, I sponged around all of the edges (amd even into the center) of the Typeset paper. I added a piece of Night of Navy Seam Binding for an accent and included a birthday sentiment from the Any Many More set. (This set has a ton of sentiments, so I made an almost identical card that says “Happy Healing” an sent it to another friend who had a recent surgery.)

Happy stamping!

Wonderful Wreath

Hello Stampers!

With just about 21 days until Christmas Day, I realized I need to start making Christmas cards! I want to send a handmade card to everyone I know! I’ve been playing with several sets but grabbed Stampin’ Up!’s Wondrous Wreath set with its coordinating framelits. I just love the color combination of Smoky Slate and Real Red. And, the bit of Red Glimmer paper just makes this card shine. Look below for the products I used to create this card.

How are you doing on Christmas cards? It’s not too late to make some handmade ones to send. I’d love to help you get those creations made and in the mail!

Enjoy!

Hello Stampers!

From boxes to bags to gift wrap and ribbon and bow-making dies, Stampin’ Up! offers a huge variety of products to prettily package all kinds of gifts. I just love these Polka Dot Tag A Bag Gift Bags. You get 10 of them for $3.95, and they can be spruced up in so many ways. Fill them with chocolate, note cards, gift cards and more!

Here, I’ve used the Bright and Beautiful stamp set from the Holiday Catalog and embossed both the star and sentiment with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder. I added a pearl to the center of the star for bling. I punched the top of the bag with the Confetti Stars Punch and closed it up with some Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.

Order any of these products from my online store by clicking the images below.

Enjoy!
