Just have to share another version of a thank-you card using Stamin’ Up!’s So Very Much stamp set. It’s one of the free sets you can earn during Sale-A-Bration for a $50 order placed (before tax and shipping).

There are some interesting elements to this card. First, the sentiment is embossed in gold on Night of Navy card stock. i adhered that layer onto a piece of Gold Foil.  I used a piece of the gold side of the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. What’s cool about this acetate is that it’s gold on one side and silver on the other. This is on top of a Night of Navy card stock base. I topped it off with some gold sequins.

Love the versatility of this big sentiment.

You’ve probably discovered that I like big sentiments, so this one really works for me. I paired it with the Party Animal Designer Series Paper and a festive balloon. When I turned the calendar page to January of 2017, I counted at least sixteen birthdays this month. I needed to get busy creating some cards! It was easy with Stampin’ Up!s new Balloon Adventures stamp set and coordinating framelits. The bundle can be found in the new Occasions Catalog. This is just one of several designs I made this week. I’ve been playing with the new Beautiful You stamp set that’s available in Stampin’ Up!’s new Occasions Catalog. The images lend themselves to some fun coloring opportunities: with aqua painters, blender pens, and Stampin’ Up!’s new watercolor markers.

For this image, I used the blender pens. To get the color, I squeeze the cover of a closed stamp pad together transferring the ink from the pad into the cover. I then dip the blender pen into the ink in the cover and color the image.
