Black and White Plus One Challenge

Picture

Hello Stampers,

The card I’m sharing today is a result of a team challenge I participated in. We were instructed to use black and white and one additional color. My additional color is Tranquil Tide.

I used one of the new bundles in Stampin’ Up!’s catalog—Rooted in Nature. The stamp set is an awesome complement to one of our long-standing sets, Lovely as a Tree. Rooted in Nature also has the coordinating Nature’s Roots Framelits Dies. Paired, the two lend themselves to a lot of possibilities. I’ve also used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder for the background and added Linen Thread and Rhinestones.

Have you seen the new catalog yet? If you don’t currently have a demonstrator, let me know. I can get a catalog to you.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Rooted in Nature–New Bundle

Picture

Hello Stampers!

There are so many fun, new items in Stampin’ Up!’s catalog, it’s hard to choose what to use first. But, as a demonstrator, I was able to get some of the product early, including the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the coordinating Nature’s Roots Framelits Dies. Purchase the stamp set and dies together and receive a 10 percent discount on the bundle.

The suite also includes the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper and the Nature’s Twine. (There are also some fun Leaves Trinkets available that I didn’t use on this card.) All of the elements make it easy to create beautiful and thoughtful cards.

Here, I started with a base of Rich Razzleberry card stock and added a piece of Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper measuring 5 ¼ x 4. I stamped the tree stump image in Soft Suede on a piece of Whisper White card stock cut at 4 inches by 3 inches. I then heat embossed the Thinking of You sentiment in white on top of the stump. On a separate scrap of Whisper White card stock, I stamped the tree image in Tranquil Tide and die cut it with the corresponding image. I adhered the tree stump stamped image to the Designer Series Paper and then to the base. I wrapped a Rich Razzleberry piece of Nature’s Twine and tied a box in the front. I then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the tree up on the card front.

I hope you’ve had a chance to look through the new catalog. Here’s a link to a PDF version. If you don’t currently have a demonstrator and wish to have a hard copy, please message me.

Thanks for stopping by today.

There’s Good News and Sad News

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I have good news, and I have sad news! Which do you want to hear first?

OK! The good news: Stampin’ Up!’s new Annual Catalog debuts June 1. That’s less than one week away. It’s filled with all kinds of new stamps, papers, and colors. There’s so much to share.

The sad news: In order to make room for new product, some things have to be retired. If you want to add any of these to your collection, you need to get them before May 31.

I really had fun with the Birthday Memories Suites. I love the Designer Series Paper (it’s now on clearance for just $7.70) because you can use the Birthday Friends Framelits Dies to cut some of the images – right from the paper. That includes this cute poodle. And guess what? The dies are 25 percent off and are now only $23.25.

This card came together quickly using Stampin’ Up’s notecards and envelopes. You get 20 precut and scored cards for just $6 – that’s only 30 cents per card.

Check out all of the retiring products here.

Here is a list of all the discounted products. If you love them, get them before they’re gone.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Share What You Love Teacher Gifts

Picture

Hello Stampers!

As you might be able to tell, I’ve been playing around (a lot) with items from Stampin’ Up!’s Share What You Love bundles. Three exclusive bundles (containing brand-new items from Stampin’ Up!s upcoming catalog) are available through May 31.

Each bundle contains a selection of different products – and each has something free. There is a Just Getting Started Bundle; A Little More, Please; and Gotta Have It All! (Remember: I’m offering free shipping when you purchase any of these bundles.)

Here, I used the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Pizza Boxes. Inspired by Patty Vasseur, these boxes hold a sticky note pad and a mini pen (and a little piece of chocolate!) Wouldn’t these make great teacher gifts?

Other products include: Pearlized Doilies, Rich Razzleberry ¼-inch Velvet Ribbon, Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, sentiment from Flourishing Phrases, Layering Circles Dies, and Rich Razzleberry ink.

Thanks for stopping by today! I’d love to answer any questions you have about this project!

Share What You Love–Thank You!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

Sharing another card with Stampin’ Up!’s Share What You Love Bundles. This one was created by my team member, Niki Green. These products will be available ala carte when the new catalog debuts June 1, but you can get them now in three specially priced bundles. Each bundle contains fun, new product and at least one free item! Remember, when you purchase one of these bundles from me before May 31, I will pay for your shipping. (Feel free to add other product to the order, but to qualify for the free shipping you must purchase one of the bundles. That also includes the bundle of In Color stamp pads.)

Niki’s card features the beautiful Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Love What You Do stamp set. The featured new In Color is Grapefruit Grove. And do you just love the Pearlized Doilies (pearl for Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary this year)?

Links to the bundles are listed below. Please let me know if you have questions about the bundles or how this card was created!

Thanks for stopping by today.
