Hello Stampers!
The card I’m sharing today is a fairly simple one, but it took me a long time to decide what I wanted to do. My sister-in-law (my hubby’s sister) and her husband just moved into a new home in Wyoming. I wanted to recognize that special occasion with a card.
Even though I have oodles of stamp sets and supplies, I just didn’t have what I thought was the right sentiment.
This is what I finally created using die cut letters from the Typeset Alphabet Bigz. I adhered the letters to a piece of the Daffodil Delight Designer Series paper from the Delicate Dots package. The sentiment comes from the Fabulous Phrases set. I stamped it in Black Versamark on Daffodil Delight card stock, punched it out with the Large Oval Punch, and layered it onto the Scallop Oval. There you have it! Simple, but effective. Now to get it into the mail.

Hello Stamping Friends!
We had a really fun Easter/spring card class last night! At each class, I like to greet each stamper with a fun treat packet at their stamping “seat.” I made these cuties (stuffed with mini candy bars) after seeing several versions on Internet stamping sites.
I created these “sour cream” container carrots with bunny adornments using a 6-inch by 4-inch sheet of Tangerine Tango DSP from the Brights Color Collection (#130134). The greenery (what would you call that on a carrot?) is a piece of Old Olive Card Stock (2-inches by 1 5/8-inch) cut with Stampin’ Up!’s new fringe scissors (#133325).
The bunnies were created with the Full Heart Punch (#119883), the Large Oval Punch (#119855), and the Owl Builder Punch (#118074). For the bows, I used a variety of SU! ribbon (I can’t decide which ribbon I like best!)

Hello Stampers!
OK, so maybe the first “official” day of spring isn’t until tomorrow, but that didn’t stop me from bringing some of the flowers into my life.
I love tulips! But it’s ironic, I don’t have any bulbs planted in my yard. Each fall, when I think I “should” plant them in preparation for spring, it just doesn’t get done. I’ll have to feed my love by heading over to the flower department at the grocery store!
Here’s a card I created for tonight’s Easter/spring class. Tulips grow in so many vivid colors I couldn’t decide which color to make. With Stampin’ Up!’s large color selection, the choices are almost endless. (I’ve actually experimented with a number of other colors to create more cards!).
But tonight, we’ll be using Strawberry Slush and Pear Pizazz. The Melon Mambo 1/8-inch taffeta ribbon just adds another pop of color. I’d also like to experiment with putting a splash of Crystal Effects on top of the flowers. I’d be they’d be even more beautiful.
Be back tomorrow — when it’s officially spring!

Hello Stampers!
It was a fun Saturday at the craft show at Faith Lutheran Church here in Lincoln, Nebraska. I finally took some photos of a couple of the displays.
This first photo shows part of the 3 x 3 display. These cute little cards really draw people’s attention to the booth. Not only are the cards fun to make, but they are a good seller. Shoppers love these as gift package inserts.
I’ve also included a photo of the the card “spinner” and another tabletop display.
That was my last craft show until the fall ones begin!
