I had soooo much fun celebrating my birthday last week! The best part was going to the mailbox and getting a handful of birthday cards — instead of bills.

The Painted with Love Designer Series Paper is one of my favorite items in Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog. The streaks of gold are fabulous and so pretty! I’ve been using a few of my scraps to make Valentine cards! View the Stampin’ Up! video below showcasing the new papers in the Occasions Catalog.
 
The heart, stamped in Rich Razzleberry, is from the Heart Happiness set. And you gotta love the little Gold Foil heart accent. The sentiment comes from another favorite, Teeny Tiny Wishes. And, how about the tinsel trim? I’ve used my fair share of that!

Hello Stampers!
 
It’s been fun creating Valentine cards with all of the fun stamp sets in Stampin’ Up!’s catalogs. This card combines stamps from Watercolor Words and Sunshine Sayings to convey a loving message. The heart is die cut from Gold Foil using the Sweet and Sassy Framelits Dies. It’s a clean and simple card that goes together easily and can be mailed!

Hello Stampers!
 
Although the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets have been available in Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog since June, I haven’t had a chance to try them out. And, wow, now I’m hooked. The adhesive sheets made it so easy to apply the Happy Birthday sentiment to the front of the card.
 
I think it pairs well with the Picture Perfect Party 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper found in Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog. The paper is so fun. I’ll definitely be using more of that in the future.
 
I added a balloon punched with the Balloon Bouquet Punch out of the Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper. Again, I love the glimmer paper and the impact it makes on this card!

Hello Stampers!
 
In just a few weeks, we’ll be celebrating Valentine’s Day. I think this is a perfect card for that and just to let someone know you care about them.
 
Once again, I was playing with Stampin’ Up!’s new stamp positioning tool, the Stamparatus. It will be available for purchase when the new catalog debuts June 1. One of the many fun features of this tool is its “stair stepping ability.” The hinges allow you to perfectly place your sentiments in a row – like I did with the “love” sentiment. I’ve included the Stampin’ Up! video below to show you its versatility.
 
Of course, I had to add some Red Glimmer paper. This card came together easily with the help of the Stamparatus. The “You” sentiment is part of the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies. Earn these free with a $100 purchase (before tax and shipping) during Sale-A-Bration.
