Hello Stampers!
I love Stampin’ Up’s Share What You Love Suite so much, I’m sharing another card today. Remember, when you purchase one of the bundles listed below, I’ll pay for the shipping. (Feel free to add other items, but to qualify for the free shipping you must purchase one of the Share What You Love Bundles.)
This card uses the coordinating Rich Razzleberry card stock with the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Serie Paper, the Pearlized Doilies (pearl for Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary), and the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Wondering how I got the “Love” sentiment? I used a sticky note to cover the rest of the words on the stamp, inked the love, removed the sticky note and stamped the “love” sentiment onto card stock. It’s a technique called masking.
Remember, these items are available bundled through May 31 and include free items in each. Beginning June 1, these products will be available on their own without the special bundle price. Click on the graphics below to go directly to my online store to purchase the bundles.
Thanks for stopping by today.

(Feel free to add other items to your order, but you must purchase one of the bundles to qualify for the free shipping offer.) If you shop online via my store (kimquade.stampinup.net), I will refund your shipping with a check. You are welcome to email your order to me, and I will just deduct the shipping from the total. The card I created uses products from that suite. To make the cool effect with the embossing folder, I inked the inside front of the folder with the Grapefruit Grove stamp set. I then spritzed some water directly onto the folder. I placed the Very Vanilla card stock inside and ran it through the Big Shot. I let it dry for a bit before adhering it to the base. Thanks for stopping by today! I’m happy to answer any questions or help with any of your stamping needs. Kim Apr 28, 2018 | Kim's Creations |
Hello Stampers!
One of the awesome products introduced in Stampin’ Up!’s latest Occasions Catalog was the Brusho Crystal Colour. It is so fun to play with! And that’s what you have to: Just play with it!
Brusho Crystal Colour is so versatile. It can be used in many different ways to create backgrounds and washes. You just have to give it a try and not be afraid to make a mess.
For this card, I heat embossed the flower image from the Beautiful Day stamp set in white embossing powder on Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Paper. I then sprinkled the Prussian Blue Brusho onto the image, spritzed it with water, and just let it go. You’ll get different results every time and it’s so much fun.
Here are some things to keep in mind when using Brusho:
- The Brushos comes in five colors: Yellow, Moss Green, Brilliant Red, Gamboge, and Prussian Blue.
- It is a powder that activates when it comes in contact with water, creating brilliant color.
- When you receive your package, do not take the lip off of the individual Brushos. Use a push pin to poke a hole or two in the top. You will then be able to sprinkle the color onto your projects.
- It is best to use either Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Paper or the Shimmery White.
- You can use the Brusho in several ways. You can apply water to your paper with your Aqua Painter and sprinkle the crystals on top and left them do their magic. You can also move the color around with the Aqua Painter. Or, you can sprinkle the Brusho onto your card stock and then use a water spritzer to activate the powder. You can use a paper towel to wipe up any excess, or you can let it dry as is.
- It’s also fun to emboss an image (white works well) onto your Shimmery White card stock or Watercolor paper and then apply the Brusho and water.
- It may take awhile for the project to dry.
- Some stampers use painters’ tape or washi to hold the paper to a flat surface. The paper does tend to bow when wet, but flattens out again!
- Don’t be afraid to mix colors, but too many colors may give you a muddy look.
- Have fun! It’s only paper! And a little Brusho goes a long way!

Hello Stampers!
I was on a roll while playing with Stampin’ Up!’s Fruit Basket Bundle offered in its Occasions Catalog. (If you like, get it now. It retires the end of May!) I made several cards of different designs, and this is one of them.
I just love all of the fresh fruit images and the festiveness of the Tutti-fruitti Designer Series Paper. Not to mention the little punches are super cute! (I used the half-circle punch to cut the orange slice images from the Designer Series Paper.)
This card features a tag created with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and the colors of Peekaboo Peach (retiring) and Sweet Sugarplum (retiring).
See a list of the products used to make this card below. Click on any of the images; they’ll take you directly to my online store where you can order at your convenience. Be sure to check the clearance rack!
Thanks for stopping by today! If you have questions about how to make this card, please send me a message. I’m happy to help!

Hello Stampers!
Sharing a cheery card for a friend using the Fruit Basket Stamp Set and Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack. This suite of fun, bright, and coordinating products can be found on page 29 of Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog.
There are a lot of really fun items that coordinate with the stamp set including the Tutti-fruitti 6 x6 Designer Series Paper featuring fruit motifs, the Tutti-fruitti Classic Stampin’ Spots (one each of Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, and Lemon Lime Twist), Tutti-fruitti Washi Tape and more.
What’s really fun is stamping the fruit shape and being able to punch it out with the coordinating punch!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you enjoyed this bright card! (Just a note: None of these products will be available after May 31. If you think this suite is as cute as I do, click on the links below to go directly to my online store and shop.)
