Welcome to Team Stamp It’s January Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us. We’re so glad you’re here. This month, all of the participating stampers feature cards and projects centered around the Valentine theme. Leave a comment on each blog. You have the chance to win the Painted Wishes Card Kit. See a list of participating stampers at the end of this post.

I share a Valentine fun fold — an Angled Z Fold using Stampin’ Up!’s Marbled Elegance 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and the Hearts of Elegance Bundle. Find these products as part of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives.

Measurements and Details

  • Cherry Cobbler card stock measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
  • Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper measuring 12 x 5 1/4, score at 4 inches and 8 inches
  • Using a ruler, measure 2 inches up from the bottom left corner of the Designer Series Paper. Lightly mark that spot with a pencil.
  • Place the DSP in the trimmer. Line the pencil mark with the cutting track and angle the paper to the eight-inch line and make an angled cut. (Watch the video below to see how I do this. Note: the video shows a different card, but it’s the same concept.)
  • Die cut Cherry Cobbler card stock with larger stitched heart.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment with gold embossing powder on heart.
  • Add Gold Twisted Thread to heart.
  • For inside: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 Cherry Cobbler card stock. Basic White card stock measuring 3 1/4 x 3 1/4.
  • Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins.

How to Video

From my craft room in Mesa, Arizona, I offer step-by-step directions for making this modified angled z fold fun fold. The video below demonstrates a card with different supplies, but the same design.

I hope you enjoy this fun fold. Please let me know if you have questions about creating this card or any other project.

Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop. You have a chance to win a Painted Wishes Card Kit.

Congrats to last month’s winner: Terry Deason
