Be sure to take advantage of Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration promotion. Receive free, exclusive stamp sets, Designer Series Paper packs, and dies with minimum purchases. The sale ends September 30, 2021. That’s about two weeks away. Who doesn’t love free?
A couple of the offerings coordinate with holiday and winter themes and stamp sets. While you may not be in the mood for holiday crafting now, this promotion offers the perfect opportunity for you to save money on your future crafting.
For the last several months, I’ve been playing with all of the free offerings. I try to make as many cards (as time allows) with the sets, papers, and dies. The Textures & Frames photopolymer stamp set (free with a $50 purchase before tax and shipping), lends itself to a variety of background stamp techniques. See this post for a host of other card examples.
Today’s card uses the Stamparatus, Stampin’ Up!’s stamp positioning tool, to create a fun background for a bright and cheery birthday card. The Stamparatus sells for $49. Add some adhesive or card stock to your order, and you can choose the Textures & Frames stamp set (or any of the other level one choices — free).

The video below shows how I created this multi-color background with one of the design images from the set. The “candles” use another of the images; I added rhinestones to act as the flames on the candles. I created the different color candles by applying ink from Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Write markers directly to the stamp. The birthday sentiments comes from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.

Each month, Stampin’ Up! offers a #simplestamping challenge. It encourages us to use just rubber stamps, ink, and paper to create handmade, rubber-stamped greeting cards. Through this practice, we show you don’t need a lot of wild and crazy supplies. You can make something pretty and functional with just a few supplies. (Of course, as crafters, we love to have all of the extra goodies; there are so many gorgeous and fun embellishment choices.)
This month’s challenge calls for rubber stamps, ink, paper, and a punch. Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and the coordinating Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch have been popular items. Through the end of June, purchase the bundle and save 10 percent. (Note: These are both available in the new Annual Catalog separately, but not offered as a bundle discount.)
This duo offers the perfect crafting combination. Although ice cream is a great treat anytime, summer is the perfect season!
Sweet Ice Cream #simplestamping
The Sweet Ice Cream Bundle has been my bundle “binge” this week. I have a tendency to choose to a bundle of Stampin’ Up! products and work with it for a few days or a week, thus binging one it! Once I start creating, the ideas usually flow. It’s fun to see all of the designs that can come from one bundle. Check out this blog post for a video showing how I used these two products to create a fun shaker card.
The card featured above uses one of my current favorite products, the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.
The card above features the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. It’s a host offering — available for $18 when you have a party that reaches $180 in sales. Ask me how you can earn this!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Please let me know how I can help you in your paper crafting journey.

With the start of June, summer officially begins! What treat says summer? Ice cream. (Who I am kidding? Anytime of the year is a good time for ice cream!)
In fact, June 7 marked National Chocolate Ice Cream Day. I created a fun shaker card to share using Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.
This bundle first appeared in Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. The good news: It’s also found a spot in the brand-new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
However, a few products used to create the Sweet Ice Cream shaker card (card design inspired by Kim Allen) retire at the end of June (or while supplies last). These include:
Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper
Blackberry Bliss Stripe Ribbon
Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles
As of today’s post, these items are all still available. Click here to view the Last Chance Product List. Some items offered at discounts up to 50 percent off. While supplies last. Another great way to shop the last chance list is to go directly to my online store at kimquade.stampinup.net and view the discounted items there.
