Splendid Autumn Card Sample
Raise your hand if you’re a collector of Designer Series Papers. Count me in, too! I love all of Stampin’ Up!’s papers, including it’s double-sided patterned designs. Not only do I love collecting the paper, but I love using it, as well.
For today’s card, I’m sharing a simple Designer Series Paper (DSP, for short) technique that works really well with the “scenery” designs.
The current “scenery” paper includes the Meandering Meadow, Thoughtful Journey, and Splendid Autumn 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.

Cutting Directions
Here are some measurements and information to help you get started:
- Wild Wheat card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
- A 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of your choice of Designer Series Paper. I used the Splendid Autumn 6 x 6 DSP for this first card.
- Cut the DSP in strips at 1 1/4, 1, 3/4, and 1/2
- Space these pieces out and attach to a piece of Cajun Craze card stock measuring 4 1/2 x 3
- Pop this up on card front
- Stamp sentiment with Cajun Craze ink on a piece of Crushed Curry card stock measuring 4 3/4 x 1/2. Find the congrats sentiment comes in the Sweetly Scripted stamp set, one of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives.
- Pop up the sentiment on card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add gems!
